Are you PEV Ready? Planning
for Plug-in Electric Vehicles in
your Community
As home to the big three auto companies
and numerous auto part suppliers,
southeast Michigan has great potential
to benefit from the success of electric
vehicles. With proper planning we can
build on our automotive heritage and
help bring the industry into a new era –
all while establishing this region and the
state as a national leader.
The Plug-In Ready Michigan Plan
helps you become ready by tackling
key questions on the future of electric
vehicles and providing the tools
necessary for municipalities to be
prepared. At this Planners’ Gathering,
the team will walk you through a step-bystep approach, making it easy for you to
join the growing coalition of “Champion
Communities” that are PEV ready and
that are working to establish Oakland
County and Michigan as a leader in the
electric vehicle industry. Come learn
more about this emerging issue and
how the Plan can be useful to you.
