SONS OF GOD
Ge. 2:8 Now the LORD God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and
there he put the man he had formed.
Ge. 2:9 And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground —
trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the
garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Just after God created mankind, He put mankind in the Garden of Eden. At
the centre of the garden were two spiritual trees: the tree of life (the Holy
Spirit of God) and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Lucifer—Ez.
28:13). God warned Adam to never eat the fruit that Satan gives, otherwise
he would die. The fall of man occurred because mankind received the fruit of
Satan (the fruit of the knowledge of good an evil). Once that happened,
mankind acquired the nature of sin and thereby became separated from
God. It became impossible for mankind to feed on the fruit of God (the fruit
of the tree of life).
He. 10:5 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and
offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me;
He. 10:6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased.
He. 10:7 Then I said, `Here I am — it is written about me in the scroll — I
have come to do your will, O God.’“
All the sin offerings of the Old Testament could never make a human good
enough to feed on the fruit of God. The only way out was a spiritual restart
for the human race. When God’s appointed time for mankind to have the
opportunity again to eat His fruit came, God prepared a new human being
(an Adam). In order for mankind to eat the fruit of God, this new Adam must
perfectly do the will of God and thereby nullify the disobedience of the first
Adam.
The new Adam is Jesus. By the time he was around thirty years old, the Holy
Spirit (the tree of life) came upon Him and into him a holy spirit, during his
baptism in water that was administered by John the Baptist. Shortly after
the baptism, Satan (the tree of the knowledge of good and evil) appeared to
him and tempted him like he did the first Adam, but Jesus Christ never
yielded to the temptation. Consequently, God anointed him with great power
and he began his earthly ministry. All through the period of the earthly
ministry, the temptation to follow the way of Satan was always there, but
Jesus never yielded to the temptation. The final battle for Jesus was to fulfill
God’s real purpose in bringing him into the world, which was to die for the
sins of mankind. Jesus chose to do the will of God and died as a sacrifice of

atonement for the sins of mankind. God resurrected him and adopted him as
His eternal first born Son.
Ro. 1:4 And who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to
be the Son of God, by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.
Jn. 1:9 The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the
world.
Jn. 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he
gave the right to become children of God —
Jn. 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a
husband’s will, but born of God.
Jesus Christ has opened the way for mankind to receive the Holy Spirit of
God. Any person who receives the Holy Spirit has the right to become a son
of God.
How to receive the Holy Spirit
Ac. 2:36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this
Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
Ac. 2:37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to
Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
Ac. 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the
name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Ac. 2:39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off
— for all whom the Lord our God will call.”
Col. 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
The number one thing a person that wants to become a son of God must do
is to repent. Repentance means to no longer set your mind on earthly
things, but on the kingdom of God. The result of this paradigm shift is that
you will begin to lose out in the things of the world and begin to grow in the
spiritual life of God.
You now submit yourself to a minister of the gospel who will baptize you in
water into the Lord Jesus Christ, so that Jesus Christ becomes your Lord.
You commonly hear preachers say that people should receive Jesus Christ as
their Lord and saviour; the proper way to do it is by baptism in water.
Jn. 3:5 Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no-one can enter the kingdom
of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.

Jn. 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit [Or but spirit] gives birth to
spirit.
When you have been baptized in water, you have been born of water; it
remains to be born of the Spirit. In order to receive the Holy Spirit, all it
takes is to pray to God to give you the Holy Spirit (Lk. 11:13) and believe
that you have received. The minister that carried out the baptism in water
can also pray for the person baptized to receive the Holy Spirit, immediately
after the water baptism (Acts 19:6).
Speaking in tongues is not a necessary indication that you have received the
Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a spirit and the mouth that speaks in tongues
is just flesh. Flesh and spirit do not often go together. A person who receives
the Holy Spirit has been born into the kingdom of God.
Notice in Acts 2:39 that the promise of the Holy Spirit is for you and your
children. It is common belief in Pentecostal and Evangelical churches to
forbid children from water baptism. This may lead to a situation where
parents ascend to heaven during the rapture, but the children are left behind
because they are not sons of God. Of course, some people will argue that
children are sanctified by their parents, but mere sanctification is not enough
for God to adopt a person as His son. Children of believers in Christ should
be baptized in water into the Lord Jesus Christ. An adult should pray for God
to give His Holy Spirit to the children.

Being a son of God
Ro. 8:13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by
the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,
Ro. 8:14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
Receiving the Holy Spirit does not really make a person a son of God; it only
gives the person the right or opportunity to become a son of God (Jn. 1:12).
You enter the kingdom of God by being born into it. The Holy Spirit of God
gives birth to a holy spirit in you. This holy spirit in you is just a spiritual
baby. And there is also inside you an unholy spirit that was birthed by Satan,
which we inherited from Adam. The unholy spirit is full grown and has been
in control of our lives since we were born. So, even though you now have a
holy spirit in you, the unholy spirit still dominates.
In order for one to live as a son of God, the holy spirit within must be made
to grow in stature and in power. Only the Holy Spirit of God can feed the
holy spirit within.

1Co. 10:2 They were all baptised into Moses in the cloud and in the sea.
1Co. 10:3 They all ate the same spiritual food
1Co. 10:4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the
spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.
Jn. 6:54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I
will raise him up at the last day.
Jn. 6:55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.
Jn. 6:56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in
him.
I personally nourish the holy spirit in me, when I pray, by asking God to feed
my spirit with His flesh and to give my spirit His blood to drink. I also pray
that God strengthens me with power in my inner being through His Holy
Spirit (Eph. 3:17). As the holy spirit within grows due to continual divine
nourishment, it increases in stature and in divine power.
A person with developed holy spirit within can destroy and overthrow the
unholy spirit within her/him, and thereby live a holy life. S/he can heal the
sick and do all manners of miracles.
As for children who have been baptized into Jesus Christ, and for whom
prayer for the gift of the Holy Spirit has been done, adults should also
continually pray for God to feed the holy spirit within them with His flesh and
to give the His blood for the holy spirit of the children to drink. Each time I
pray, I include every member of my family in the prayers. Children will do
great exploits in this end time because of prayers like these.

Adoption of the sons of God
Ro. 8:23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit,
groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption
of our bodies.
1Co. 15:51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all
be changed —
1Co. 15:52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the
trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be
changed.
1Co. 15:53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and
the mortal with immortality.

From the above two passages, we can see that God adopts people as His
sons by giving them immortal bodies. Even souls of dead people will be
adopted as sons of God.
1Th. 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud
command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God,
and the dead in Christ will rise first.
1Th. 4:17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up
together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will
be with the Lord for ever.
1Th. 4:16-17 shows that as soon as the sons of God are adopted, they are
snatched up to heaven. This is in agreement with Re. 12:5, which shows
that shortly after the man child is born, he is snatched up to heaven.

Strive to Enter
Lk. 13:23 Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be
saved?” He said to them,
Lk. 13:24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because
many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.
Lk. 13:25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will
stand outside knocking and pleading, `Sir, open the door for us.’ “But he will
answer, `I don’t know you or where you come from.’
Not many people who claim to be sons of God will be adopted as sons. A lot
of effort is required.
Mt. 25:1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who
took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Mt. 25:2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
Mt. 25:3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with
them.
Mt. 25:4 The wise, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.
The virgins in this parable are people who have received holy spirit from
God. The wise ones among them pay the price to grow their holy spirit with
divine nourishment. They continually eat spiritual food and drink spiritual
drink (1Cor 10:2-4) and remain in tune with the Holy Spirit of God. The
foolish ones do not feed their holy spirit with spiritual food and do not drink
spiritual drink. The wise ones are eventually adopted as sons of God.
