Mark Horn was a member of the Gay Liberation Front and took over as chair of Gay Youth after Mark Segal. He joined the Gay
Activist Alliance in 1971 and co-founded LGBT groups at Lehman College and UNC-Chapel Hill. He has worked at Identity House,
New York's LGBT peer counseling organization. He is the author/editor of The Stonewall Seder liturgy (info at
www.stonewallseder.com). He was also on the board of directors of NewFest, New York's LGBT film festival. He works in
advertising.
Mark Segal has established a reputation as the Dean of American gay journalism over the past five decades. From the Stonewall
demonstrations in 1969 to founding the Philadelphia Gay News in 1975, along with his more recent forays into TV and politics, his
proven commitment as a tireless LGBT advocate has made him a force to be reckoned with. His newly released memoir about being at
Stonewall and his life of activism entitled “And then I Danced: Traveling the Road to LGBT Equality” is currently in bookstores.
