Event Kickoff - Meet & Greet for Students, Staff, & Faculty - sponsored by the Student Advisory Board
(Wieboldt Hall, 4th Floor, 5:15-7:00 pm)
Enjoy refreshments and hors d'eouvres and meet fellow classmates, faculty, and staff. Spouses, partners, friends and
family members are welcome!
Tuesday, November 8th
SAB Presents: Snacks grab and go with giveaways! (Wieboldt Hall, 1st Floor Lobby, 5:15-7:00 pm)
Swing by on your way to class to pick up some snacks and SCS giveaways!
Social Media Networking - LinkedIn Workshop presented by UCS (Wieboldt Hall, Room 417, 6:15-7:15 pm)
UCS Assistant Director of Internship Services Betsy Gill will provide advice on how to use LinkedIn to help build and
maintain your network.
Wednesday, November 9th
Financial Resources and Planning Workshop (Wieboldt Hall, Room 507, 6:15-7:15 pm)
Stop by for tips and information to help your financial planning during your time in school and beyond. Charles
Clemons, of Waddell & Reed Financial Advisors will lead this workshop.
Thursday, November 10th
Career Change Webinar/Workshop - presented by UCS (Online, 6:15-7:15 pm)
Making a career change? This workshop can help you with your decision making process by providing general steps
and advice. Tracie Thomas, UCS Associate Director for Career Development, will lead this webinar.
Networking Workshop - presented by Steve Janowiak (Wieboldt Hall, Room 608, 6:15-7:15 pm)

Student Town Hall Meeting/Webinar (Wieboldt Hall & Online, Room 408, 5:15 pm-6:15 pm)
All students are welcome. Bring your questions or concerns to the Student Advisory Board. We need your input on
how to improve the SCS experience! Peter Kaye, Asst. Dean of Undergraduate & Credit Programs, Glen Fogerty,
Asst. Dean of the Graduate School, and Tim Gordon, Associate Dean of Student & Alumni Services, will be in attendance. Food and beverages will be served.
Networking Social and Happy Hour courtesy of SAB and the Alumni Association
(Elephant and Castle, 160 East Huron Street, Chicago, 6:30 - 8:30 pm)
Join your classmates and Alumni at a local Chicago campus haunt for a few drinks, networking, and some relaxation.
