Madison, Wisconsin
Brotherhood Trip

Pictured above is the Madison, WI TKE house on the morning of game day. We had 10 Tekes
and our TKE Sweetheart attend the USD away game. The Madison Tekes were nice enough
to let us stay at their house for two nights. Even though USD lost pretty badly to Wisconsin,
everyone had a great time hanging out with the Madison Tekes, going to the game, and
touring State Street.

The TKE flag football team had just one loss in the regular season to the Delts. The
actives, along with special team members Merritt Groh (Alumni & Chapter Advisor)
and Zach Seefeldt (Graduate Assistant), made it to the championship game. To get
to the championship game, we beat PIKE in the 1st round of the playoffs by a large
margin. Our second playoff game against Beta went into overtime but, we came
through in the end. We beat Delt in the Dome in the championship game 20-12.

House
Improvements

Pictured above is our new sectional couch. We purchased the sectional with money
the chapter fundraised. The couch was found on Craigslist, and we picked it up in
Sioux City, IA. You can also see our new carpet upstairs that was paid by alumni
funds.
Pictured below is the new 55’ TV (bottom). Both TVs are now mounted to the wall
and we have cable access. Having this new setup has been great for college football
and NFL on Sundays. The new TV was also purchased with funds raised by the
chapter.

The TKE Theta Eta Chapter is very
proud of our nice house. We have
been keeping it extremely clean and
have received a number of
compliments. We were told numerous
times that we have the nicest house
on campus by guys rushing. In
addition to guys rushing, we have also
been complimented on the quality of
our house by TKE Alumni, girls, and by
TKE Nationals visitors.

TKE Charity
Fight Night

When:

Thursday, March 22nd 2012

TKE will be hosting our annual TKE Charity Fight Night in the DakotaDome. All proceeds
will be donated to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Last year, we were able
donate over $2000. Please help us by attending this year’s Fight Night and spreading the
word around about the event.
Frater Tyler Schimmel will be in charge of Fight Night this year. He is currently looking
for fighters. If you know anyone who is interested in fighting, contact him. If you have
