Jacklyn began riding as a young child and focused exclusively on dressage
from age 11. She became a student of Ashley Holzer in her early teens
and under her guidance trained to the FEI levels with her Dutch gelding
Dunkaschon. They won 3 medals for Canada at the North American
Young Riders Championships and were short and long listed for the
Canadian Dressage Team. Jacklyn was a working student with Ashley in
New York prior to traveling to Germany where she trained with Uwe
Sauer, Udo Lange and Christilot Boylen. She has also worked with Eva
Maria Pracht and Wolfgang Michaelis.
Jacklyn has a wealth of experience with horses and riders from basic
through advanced levels. She has studied psychology, physiology and
communication to enable her to providing optimal training experiences
for her clients. She has built a reputation that demonstrates integrity,
personal investment in her students and an uncompromising approach
to the horse’s well being. Jacklyn is based in the Paris-Ancaster area and
is available for lessons, training and clinics.
