To whom it may concern:
This reference letter is provided at the written request of Michael Rodrigues, who asked me to serve
as a reference on his behalf.
In the capacity of Service Business Development Manager, I supervised Michael for the past seven
months. While Michael was primarily contracted to carry out research on the client database, when
the opportunity presented itself, he proved willing to take on additional tasks.
Not only did Michael perform to our considerable expectations, but he did so independently with
only minimal supervision. While his research spanned a wide breadth, he did not compromise his
attention to detail and was able to frame his work according to our strategic requirements.
He also illustrated keen business acumen through his proposed research initiatives. An
unconventional approach for a B2B company such as Austal, Michael designed and conducted an
online survey to measure Austal's public perception. The rationale behind this being: brand
awareness existing within the general public is carried forward into the businesses they inhabit or
will inhabit in the future.
It is my belief that Michael is a well-rounded, resourceful and determined individual. Finally, Michael
is pleasant to work with and has demonstrated excellent communication skills.
