Subject : Urgent Submission Of Reports
This Notice is in regard to the proposal of granting privilege to the local Federal Authorities under the jurisdiction
of the United States for monitoring suspected Internet Protocol(IP) addresses as reported by FBI Field Office, New York on 15
April, 2012 regarding online malicious activities against Governmental and Federal Civic Entities.
Following up the report, the U.S. Department Of Justice filed a petition in the United States District Court for the
allowance of monitoring suspected IP addresses as reported.The United States District Court has granted the permission to the
Federal Authorities granting them the privilege to monitor the reported IP addresses.
Please be advised that all the FBI Field Official heads are now required to submit their reports on the suspected IP
addresses containing only assured evidences of the online malicious attacks. The report must contain full information of the
Internet Service providers (ISPs) assigning the suspected IP addresses and authentic addresses of the owners of the thus found
Internet Service Providers(ISPs). The reports are to be submitted to the U.S. Department of Justice on or before 29 April, 2012
at 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20530-0001 under the assigned File Number - 281-CO-917375.
The photocopy of the original document containing the required court orders regarding the petition has been
dispatched to all the FBI Field Offices falling under the U.S. Jurisdiction.
