calories that you should be eating every day based on your body composition and your goals. Make
sure it is a diet plan that you can stick to. Although a strict diet is important, you cannot make the diet
so strict that you can't adhere to it. Plan out a cheat meal or two throughout the week, so that you do
not deprive yourself. As a result, you are more likely to keep following the diet.

Once a diet plan has been created, develop an exercise routine. Just like with your diet plan, you
should make sure your exercise routine is difficult but manageable. You do not want to start out doing
too much too soon. Otherwise, you could injure yourself, which could prevent yourself from exercising
for a long time. You don't want this to happen. Therefore, take it easy when you are first starting out,
and as you get stronger, you can adjust your routine to make it more difficult.

Find some friends who are also trying to lose weight, and work together to achieve your goals. Having
friends on your side and who can hold you accountable makes it much more likely that all of you will
succeed in meeting your weight loss goals. Plan out times where you all can go to the gym together
and workout. Encourage each other, and when one of you feels like quitting, motivate him or her to
keep going.

Finally, make sure you are keeping track of your results and compare them to your overall goals.
Positive results lead to an increased morale to continue pushing to achieve your weight loss goals.
Make sure that you do not just go strictly by the scale. Use a tape measure to measure your chest,
hips, arms, thighs, etc. Sometimes, you may lose body fat, but the scale won't move. Do not become
discouraged by what the scale tells you.
