Vehicle Damage Shots – Example of Front-End Damage
Look for damage all over the vehicle. For each damage area please capture an overview shot of the
damage and close up shots of each damaged part. Take photos from different angles, from
underneath and behind damage if possible. Follow the “line of impact”, capturing photos of the
damaged panel as well as the two adjacent panels.

damage area. (1) Take an overview photo first
showing the tape measure, held vertically, from the
ground to above impact, and – without moving the
tape measure – (2) a close-up photo with the tape
measure markings visible at the point of impact.
