Objectives of the summer transfer market: Gonzalo Higuain
Few players have been so criticized and yet as effective as Gonzalo Higuain at Real
Madrid. Since his arrival in the white team at age 19, caused controversy by striker 12
million it paid the policy, then headed by Ramon Calderon, by a then-unknown young
Argentine, who failed to FIFA 13 Coins impress in his first season in the Santiago
Now, after more than five years and with 122 goals in Real Madrid, Higuain value is a
new topic of discussion, only this time it is the Spanish side which makes the sale,
while Juventus and Arsenal have already taken positions to go for the front.
When he arrived at Santiago Bernabeu in the 2006-07 season, Higuaí
n scored just two
goals in their 19 league games and the fans then I asked for his head. For many, his
time at the club was coming to an end before it had really begun.
However, the career of 'Pipita' was just taking off. The Argentine found the net to
eight times in 25 league games in his second season - never scored again less than 10
goals and three times surpassed the twenty-.
Even so, it was never a stronghold for the equipment. His best season was 2009-10,
where he was the only time he could have been considered a permanent fixture. A role
that was deleted immediately after the departure of Manuel Pellegrini and the arrival
of Jose Mourinho. Since then, Higuain has had to share the minutes with Karim
Benzema, Real Madrid who have always considered more talented but less
At the end of the 2011-12 season 'Pipita' asked to be traded, but Mourinho convinced
him to stay with the promise of more minutes in the first team, which never
materialized. The Argentine striker came home in 10 fewer games and scored eight
fifa 13 ultimate team coins goals less than last season.
Thus, after finishing the last match against Osasuna, announced his decision
irrevocable. "I'm leaving Real Madrid.'ve Spent seven years here and my decision is
not rushed. Never had anything for granted here and I always had to fight to get what
he wanted. Vine by 12 m € and I sell for much more.'ve Accomplished much here. "
The problem is that one thing is that Higuain reveals his intention to leave the
Bernabeu, but quite another is that Madrid let him go so easily. Following the
announcement, President Florentino Perez insisted that no player would easily if the
club was not willing to sell it and immediately put it at 30 million euros, much more
than the 18 that, initially, Juventus was willing to offer.
Since then, the situation Higuain has become more complicated and rumors linking
him with a new potential suitor each week. The Serie A champions remains the most
likely destination, and reports in Italy and Spain indicated that negotiations between
the two clubs and the player have progressed, albeit at a very slow pace. In fact, the
only offer that the striker would have accepted is the Turin team.
At the same time, the stalled negotiations has allowed other parties have expressed
interest, such as Arsenal who, as revealed by Goal, has made a request for Higuain,
and are willing to break the barrier of 20 million pounds (25 million euros) to ensure
forward. The Gunners, however, are not willing to meet the 30 million euros that
Florentino Perez asks.
It should be noted that Real Madrid are still looking for the replacement for Jose
Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti concerned or otherwise, must decide on the fifa coins
to buy matter. The forward market is expensive and any suitable substitutes are scarce.
For example, Robert Lewandowski can be on top of your career, but do not know if it
would be worth considering the sale of a player who is already acclimated to the team
and the city and replaced by someone who could suffer that adapting to a new league
and high environmental pressure leads play in Madrid.
At the same time, Higuain has shown in his years as a meringue that is a very good
striker, physically strong and with a big heart, but not a superstar. What the Madrid
needed now are players who can, at least, increase the confidence of his followers and
promise to help the team make a step forward. The Argentine has slope that account.
Therefore it is willing to try their luck elsewhere. The Real Madrid striker is likely to
sell to the highest bidder due to stronger reputation it has in other places with the club
itself. Therefore, it should not be a surprise that soon we suddenly wake up to the
news that the 'Pipita' packed up to depart Italy or England.
