PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP ARTIST CONFERENCE & TRADE SHOW

“Georgia is one of the top 5 production destinations in the
country with an economic impact of approximately $3.1
billion in 2012.
PMAC (Professional Makeup Artist Conference) is an industry trade show for those who specialize in the makeup
profession. This conference serves to educate, entertain,
and expose the vast world of professional makeup artistry.
We encompass all facets of the trade featuring experts
from the beauty, fantasy, body art, special effects, haute
couture, and bridal segments.
These visual artists of the entertainment industry are modern painters whose skills transform human canvases with
their imaginary work. PMAC will help to educate working
professionals while exposing the general public to cutting
edge technology in the makeup industry.
Our conference is open to vendors who supply a wide
variety of products giving attendees the opportunity to
purchase cutting edge makeup supplies.

OUR RECOGNIZABLE TEAM
Our legendary creator, Gwynnis
Mosby, is a celebrity makeup
artist with 30 years of experience. Her brush has developed
the look of entertainment with
feature work in Cosmopolitan,
Time, Vanity Fair, Vogue, Essence, and Upscale.
Her extensive list of clientele
includes Lil Jon, Outkast, Sean
“Puffy” Combs, TLC, Faith
Evans, Toni Braxton, Ce-Ce
Winans, Stevie Wonder, Lynn
Whitfield, Bill Cosby, Lisa Raye,
and many more. Her television credits include The Oprah
Winfrey Show, MTV Music Awards, VH1 Fashion Awards,
and the Grammy Awards.

“We cover the full spectrum of makeup”

EVENT ACTIVITIES
Day One:
Our opening activities are filled with demonstrations, panels, sampling, and sells opportunities. Simultaneously, a
series of competitions commence in five categories entitled
“Masters of the Maquillage” (French for “makeup”).
As the activities of the day close, patrons, vendors, and
sponsors are invited to return to The Maquillage Awards
Ceremony. This red carpet evening recognizes our national makeup pioneers who are at the top of their craft.
Afterwards, participants are invited to network and enjoy
the live musical entertainment.
Day Two:
Our show continues encouraging patrons to support vendors and to participate in additional demonstrations held
by our exhibitors.
The weekend will be filled with innovative techniques for
the thousands of people who will attend this trade show.
It is the opportunity to learn, discover, and network in a
venue geared toward education.
“Teaching the true art of makeup”

Gwynnis Mosby Makeup Academy, located in Atlanta’s
Buckhead community, has a six-month waiting list and is
a driving force in the industry. Graduate students of her
academy are working all over the world.
