This is a purchase for camera buffs who take lots of pictures inside and want really good quality.
This flash is surely pricey, but many Canon Digital SLR owners found it to be a fantastic value.
This flash is especially perfect for parents, with their first child, and all of the photos they want to
take. If this flash is something you might want to have, there are some good and bad things about
it.
If you take several burst shots in a second, the flash can keep up every time. It is a lot more
robust than the built-in flash of your dslr camera. The TTL is amazing and the photographs are
almost always exposed flawlessly. This powerful flash possesses manual controls and, if
necessary, can override the TTL without a hitch. You will be able to take 400 to 500 pictures
before the AA rechargeable batteries need to be recharged. You can shoot photos at any shutter
speed with a flash with high speed sync, there is however quite a reduction in the distance the
flash travels. If you'd like the flash bounced off of ceilings or the wall behind you, it can be done
because of the 90 degree tilt, and the 180 degree turn.
It is well built with a strong metal foot and a creative locking mechanism. With the rear sync, it is
possible to get well-defined images for indoor shots using any lens, even at 1/3 of a second or
less. When snapping shots in low lighting, the Speedlite is able to find your target and focus
without the irritating test flashes. As opposed to flashes of bright and vivid light, the Canon
Speedlite gives off a red light. One of several issues for this flash is that those with large fingers
have a tough time pushing buttons on the flash. The flash is also somewhat big and adds some
weight to the camera but your photographs will look great.
Buying this flash is a great investment if you are truly looking to improve your photography. There
are lots of uses for this flash, and even when outdoors you are going to start seeing shadows, that
your flash can lighten up. The flash does a great job with calculating the amount of exposure so
you will never have overexposed or underexposed shots. Also having the light bounce off the
ceiling or walls is a wonderful touch.
If you use the flash's automatic mode, your photos will be properly exposed. Canon Speedlite
430EX II Flash for Canon Digital SLR Cameras is well worth buying with all of its amazing but
subtle features.
