WE’RE ON THE CUSP OF
SOMETHING NEW

The Cusp is a new anarchist social center set to open in November 2013 in downtown Olympia. We aim to support the development of anti-authoritarian critique and practice, generate discussion and social antagonism, and host projects, meetings, and
events.
Why a social center? Why now? Anarchists in Olympia and the Pacific Northwest have been battling the heavy hand of state
repression for the past year and a half. It hasn’t been easy, but we’ve reached this current lull with stronger relationships, stronger points of affinity, and a stronger desire to act for total freedom now. We are excited about opening a social center so we can
meet others who share our desires, and serve as a launch point for projects that further these goals. We’re ready to move out of
the defensive.
We need your help. To move into our new space, we need to raise another $1000 by October 31st. Our rent is $500 a month, and
we would be especially appreciative of recurring monthly donations.
