Upcoming Games, “Carpool Week”

Alumni Game Set for December 21.

All three high school teams will begin regular-season
play this week. Please note the following:

There is still time to register for our Alumni event on
December 21. On that day, our Blue Devil alumni will
take on the alumni of our rival, the Armada Tigers.
The games will be played Saturday afternoon and
evening.

The Freshmen team has two road games this week.
They will take on Marysville HS on Monday, December
9 at 4:00pm and then will play Wednesday December
11 at St. Clair HS at 5:00pm. Both dates are “carpool”
situations. The Freshmen team will depart for
Marysville on Monday at 3:00pm, and will depart for
St. Clair HS at 4:10pm on Wednesday.
The JV and Varsity teams will play back-to-back games
on Friday, December 13 at Memphis HS and Saturday,
December 14 against Mooney HS. The Saturday
games are part of the annual “Dave Jackson Classic”,
honoring the longtime Macomb County educator and
basketball coach. Both days are carpool situations for
both teams. On Friday, The JV team plays the host
Yellowjackets at 6:00, with the varsity playing after.

coaching staff for a registration form. Cost is $35 after
December 7. This includes game shirt and all game
fees. We would love to see all our Alumni, fans, and
families at this event!

Fundraising Events Wrap-Up
We would like to take the time to thank all of those
who attended our fundraising events this past
weekend, our Euchre Night and our family Mattress
Sale. We appreciate all you do to help us make
Richmond basketball a first-class experience for our

On Saturday December 14, the JV team will Cardinal
Mooney HS at Mooney at 12:30pm. The Varsity will
also play Mooney but the game will be played at
L’Anse Creuse HS at 3:00pm. Our Varsity Girls team
also plays Mooney beforehand.

Middle School Basketball
The Middle School basketball season quickly will soon

be upon us all. Middle School basketball (7 and 8
grade) will have tryouts from January 6-10, with each
practice occurring from 3-5pm. Students will need to
have a physical on file with the main office/athletic
office before they are allowed to participate in tryouts
(no exceptions). Please contact a member of the
coaching staff for more information.
Games begin on January 20. The middle school season
culminates with an exciting day of basketball on
Saturday, March 1, as all conference (BWAC) middle
school teams play their last games at St. Clair College!
