Warranty: Each Year-A-Round Biomass energy system has a full two-year warranty from time of purchase.
Warranty is valid upon Year-A-Round Corp. receipt of the warranty/registration card. The warranty may be voided
if the system has been modified or is improperly installed. For specific information on the warranty, please reference
the Installation/Operator's Manual or contact your local Dealer
Tbe owner/operator must insure that the furnace installation and operation comply with National, State, Municipal
and Local Heating, Cooling & Low Pressure Codes

PRODUCT WARRANTY

Year-A-Round Corporation shall provide warranty on material and workmanship
to products manufactured at Year-A-Round Corporation, Mankato, Minnesota. All
purchased products used in the manufacturing of YAR products are subject to our
vendor's warranty policies. Warranty for material and workmanship is subject to a
two-year period from date of invoice.
This warranty is subject to normal use as determined by the manufacturer. This
warranty does not extend to any losses, damages due to misuse. accident, abuse,
normal wear and tear, consumer negligence. Nor does it cover unauthorized
modifications or altercations. This includes use beyond rated capacity or improper
installation, maintenance, or application. In the case of the consumer (customer) or
its agents, has supplied specifications, information, representation of operating
conditions or other data to YAR, or Dealer, in the selection or design of the products
and preparation of a quotation. and in the event that actual operating conditions or
other provisions contained herein, which are affected by such conditions shall be
null and void.
A "CUSTOMER WARRANTY REGISTRATION FORM" is included in our
operator's manual supplied with each unit. This form needs to be completed and
returned to our Warranty Manager for future warranty consideration. YAR will
request the serial number and date of sale of the unit to process warranty requests.
This information can be found on the inside lid of the Computer Control Box. In
many cases the YAR Warranty Manager will request the return of the unit/parts in
question. 'Warranty on vendor supplied parts will be subject to their review. If the
vendor acknowledges the part is covered under warranty YAR will extend that
coverage on to the customer, but only upon receiving credit from our vendor. This
could take some time so please have patience with the system. Replacement parts
shipped from YAR, and returned to YAR, are at the customer's freight expense
unless authorized by the \Varranty Manager.
In the case where the customer chooses the freight company for whole good or parts
shipments YAR is not responsible for any damage during transit of said product.
This becomes an issue between the customer and the freight company they chose.
It will be the Customer/ Dealers responsibility to ensure that installation of YAR
Products have met all local and state fire and safety, chimney and non-pressurized
warm water furnace standards or codes.

STARTING PROCEDURES FOR FURNACES
10/1/08

1. FLIP ALL ROCKER SWITCHES TO 1I0FF"
• Rocker Switches are OFF in down position. ON in up position.

2. Flip the START/RUN toggle switch to the START position. This switch
is only an override for the low limit control. The low limit switch will
remain open until the firepot is hot.

3. Turn the THUMBSCREW located by the chain drive, all the way to the
right to close the butterfly valve.

4. Remove the Inspection Door on the right.

s. Make sure the HEATING ELEMENTI SAFETY CONTROL switch is set at
1400 degrees. Turn the round knob on the top of the control to adjust.

6. Flip HEATER rocker switch to the ON position

7. Insert HEATING ELEMENT into the TUBE ASSEMBLY to the full forward
position. If unable to fully insert the heating element, slide the
heating element out, turn the AGITATOR ON, and slightly rotate the
agitator. Push back on the safety switch arm to stop the agitator and
reinsert heating element to the full forward position.
• Note: A RED LIGHT on the end of the control panel indicates that the
element is functioning

8. Flip COMPUTER rocker switch to the "0N" position.
