Games Results for HS Teams

Upcoming Game Events

The Freshman team split games last week, traveling to
Ortonville-Brandon and losing, and then traveling to
Capac and winning. Their record currently stands at 85 overall and 7-2 in the conference. The JV team
traveled to Capac last week and won, improving their
record 9-4 overall and 5-4 in the conference.

February 14, Home vs. Algonac: Senior Night
Our three seniors will be honored before the game on
Friday, February 14 against Algonac HS. Help us
celebrate the achievements and efforts of our seniors!

The Varsity team traveled to Capac on Friday, February
7 and won for only the second time in twenty-five
years. Their record currently stands at 9-4 overall and
6-3 in conference play.

Upcoming Game Action
Freshmen:

February 25, Home vs. Imlay City: Middle School Night
Our seventh grade team will play at halftime of the JV
game, and our eighth grade team will play at halftime
of the varsity game.
February 27, Home vs. Cros-Lex: Parent’s Night
Parents of all three HS teams will be honored between
the JV and Varsity games.

Tournament Pairings Announced

Junior Varsity:

Play Almont (H), Tuesday, 6:00pm
Play Algonac (H), Thursday, 6:00pm
Play Mar. City (A), Saturday, 5:00pm

The playoff brackets for the state tournament have
been announced. Richmond will play in the District
tournament on Monday, March at 6pm against the
Marysville Vikings. The game will be at Marysville HS.

Varsity:

Play Almont (H), Tuesday, 7:30pm
Play Algonac (H), Friday, 6:30pm
Play Mar. City (A), Saturday, 6:30pm

February 14 Game Times
Please be advised that the game times for the Varsity
Girls and Boys games on February 14 vs. Algonac have
been changed. Varsity girls will play at 5pm, with the
boys tipping off at 6:30pm.

Saturday February 15: Carpool
On Saturday, we will have to travel to Marine City HS
via Carpool. Thanks to some new policies put in place
by administration, all parent drivers will have to
complete a short-ICHAT form. In addition, the
coaching staff must keep a detailed record of who
travels in what car and submit this info on Monday.

Drug Awareness Program
On Monday, February 24, Richmond High School will
host a Drug Awareness Program sponsored by thr
Richmond Police Department and featuring “Families
against Narcotics”. The program is for all studentathletes as well as all students, parents, and families in
the community.
The athletic department and school administration is
asking all winter-season athletes to attend.
