Since graduating Leeming Senior High School in 2009, I decided to
take time away from university to see the world and learn from new
experiences. I have now travelled to over 22 countries, including
living overseas for six months in Ireland where I worked in an event
management company for clients such as Lindt and L'Oreal. Once I
returned home to Perth, I found myself creating a huge industry
network and establishing a career at The Deen Hotel as their Event
and Promotions Coordinator. With upcoming tertiary qualifications in
the marketing and management fields and years of practical
experience, I am highly capable of a senior position in the events
management industry. Not only do I have excellent presentation
skills, both verbal and written, but I execute all tasks with the same
passion and attention they deserve. My excellent interpersonal skills
have proven to be an asset when positively influencing and
engaging stakeholders.
I have a proven ability to identify innovative solutions and strategies
to attract new business whilst acting as a manager. I have been left
with immense responsibilities; unsupervised on many occasions and
worked with the highest levels of organisational management. My
organisational skills have allowed me to work with high demands,
tight deadlines and changing priorities. My passion for learning and
adapting my skill sets have been an asset in this industry and I am
now highly competent at both Windows and Mac systems, including
all design software.
