2014 PITBIKE SLOVENIA AMATEUR CUP RULES AND REGUALTIONS SUMMARY

1 - CALENDAR
Calendar is published in AMZS Sport natioanl calendar, which can be found in AMZS Sport's Blue book
and on www.sport.amzs.si under the Calendar bookmark. It can be found on
http://minimotomxslo.wix.com/pitbikemx-slovenija as well.
2 – RIDERS
2.1. Rider's terms
To be allowed racing in the Slovenian Amateur Pitbike Championship the rider must:
- Posess valid national riding licence
- Posess valid FIM or FIM Europa licence
- Foreign riders must submit their federation's starting permission
Conditions for issuing driver's licenses are listed in the Sports Regulations, Article 70.4.1
In addition to the conditions referred to in Article 70.4.1, each rider has to do a seminar before the start of a
season.
Riders without licence have the right to compete as well, but has to meet the following criteria:
• have passed a medical examination in occupational medicine, sports,
• accident insurance are regulated under the terms of AMZS Sports Code
• complete an application for registration
• At the first annual occurrence must pay EUR 10 for registration
For juvenile riders (up to 18 years of age) license is required.
Organizer of the race can accept foreign drivers with a national license provided by the rider’s federation under
the term that organizer has signed the race in international FIM or FIM Europa Calendar.
Novice riders has to wear yellow jacket / vest (supplied by organizer) in his/her first race appearance.
2.2. – CATEGORIES, BIKES AND AGE LIMITS
- PIT 140; Bikes up to 140 cc (4-stroke). Wheels must be a maximum of 14 inches front and 12' rear. Manual
clutches are allowed. Engine modifications are allowed. Rider must be 14 years of age or older.
- OPEN; Bikes above 150cc up to 200cc (4-stroke). Wheels must be a maximum of 14 inches front and 12' rear.
Manual clutches are allowed. Engine modifications are allowed. Rider must be 18 years of age or older.
- VET 35+; Bikes up to 200cc (4-stroke). Wheels must be a maximum of 14 inches front and 12' rear. Manual
clutches are allowed. Engine modifications are allowed. Rider must be 35 years of age or older.
- LADIES; Bikes up to 150 cc (4-stroke). Wheels must be a maximum of 14 inches front and 12' rear. Manual
clutches are allowed. Engine modifications are allowed. Rider must be 14 years of age or older.
- JUNIOR; Bikes up to 50 cc (2-stroke). Wheels must be a maximum of 14 inches front and 12' rear. Rider
must not be older than 7 years of age.

Rider who exceeds age limit during the season can finish it in same category.

3 – STARTING NUMBERS

In a first appearance a new competition number is allocated to a rider. A rider can ask for a certain free onedigit, two or three-digit number while registering to the race via internet. Riders who compete in European and
World championship may agree to replace their number. Each rider must have their own starting number which
must be seen on each of the three number plates. A racing number on the back of a rider is not obligatory. If a
rider decides to wear a number on his/her back, it must be the same as the one on the bike.

Rider who currently leads series may have a red plate in each category.
Starting number has to be certain size as prescribed: 50mm wide, 120mm high and 15mm thick.

4 - TECHNICAL CONTROL AND VERIFICATION
Documents listed below are going to be checked at every race:
- Rider's licence and registration
- Certified medical card
- Race motorcycle
- Helmet (must be certified by the FIM rules)

5 - FUEL
The use of leaded fuel is obligatory.

6 – STARTING FEE
Starting fee of each event for every category is set to 10€ for licenced riders and 15€ for those who does not
posses a licence. Registration for the race must be made via unofficial web page
http://minimotomxslo.wix.com/pitbikemx-slovenija no later than one day before the race is scheduled. The
payment will be executed on a race day at tehchnical control and verification.
IF THE COMPETITOR HAS ALREDY GONE THROUGH REGISTRATION PROCESS AND FOR SOME
REASON WILL NOT COME TO THE RACE, PLEASE SEND US A MESSAGE VIA INTERNET ON
minimotomxslo@gmail.com NO LATER THAN FRIDAY UNTILL 22:00.
7 – RACE DAY

PRACTISE
There will be two 10min training sessions for each category. The first practise is free training and the
second one is timed.

THE RACE
There will be two 10min + 2 laps races for each category.

SUPERFINALS
The final race of the day will be so called Superfinal race which is voluntary. It is meant as a friendly
race where the best 3 riders from each category can compete together.

Each category (except Superfinals) will have their own practise and race sessions. In case of registered riders
less than 5, the category will be merged with the next least numbered one. In case of registered riders less than 5
in each category, the race in those categories will be executed as a one group race.

8 – RIDER'S WEARING AND RACING MOTORCYCLES
Rider's wearing
In practises and races riders must wear protective clothing prescribed by FIM rules and regualtions. To sum up,
under obligatory protective clothing each rider must wear a HELMET, GOGGLES and BOOTS.
9 – CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM

In case of two competitors gathering same number of points in a race, a rider who will have better result in a
second race will be ranked higher.
In case of gathering same number of points after championship is finished, a rider who will have more individual
better finishes will be ranked higher. In case of another tie, a rider with more better second race finishes will be
ranked higher. In case of another tie, a rider with better result at last race will be ranked higher.
Rider must complete at least 75% of a race to be considered as a valid race and get ranked inside running order.
10 – SIGNALIZATION
Official signalization must be executed using 750 x 600 mm flags as shown below:
Red flag - waving
Black flag with number of the rider
Yellow flag
Yellow flag - waving

Blue flag - waving
Green flag

11 – TRACK CUTTING
Track cutting is forbidden and must be penalized as long as a competitor gains an advantage. As necessary
organizer executes appropriate punishment. As long as track cutting was assumed accidental a rider must return
to racing in a fastest and shortest way possible.

12 – AWARDS
First three riders from each category will receive prizes in a form of trophys or medals and practical prizes as
well provided by an organizer.

13 - PROTESTS
Protests must be invested under the regulations of AMZS Sport to race director within 30min
afte an occurrance or possible conclusions. If possible they can be solved by race director
himself or can be handed over to the dismissal of the jury. Protest fee is set to 50€ and belongs
to an organizer of a race. In case of positive solutions protest fee is returned to protestor.
Motorcycle opening deposit is set to 450€. As long as incorrect volume is determined a deposit
is returned to the protestor. In case of different conclusion a deposit goes to affected rider as
compensation for motorcycle assembly. In case of a rider declines his motorcycle opening or
incorrect volume is determined, he is automatically disqualified from a race and a jury must
log him in to the disciplinary judge.
