M

arch 1 marked another
hallmark in Asclepian
history, when the 37th
Turnover Ceremony was held at The
Grand Tower Iloilo to welcome the
newly elected officers for S.Y. 20142015. The event, organized by the
Batch 37, kicked off at 6:00 pm to
much fanfare as each Asclepian
arrived in an outfit from the 1920’s.
This year’s event had the theme “The
Great Gatsby” and the ballroom was
filled with feathers, pearls, bowties,
blacks, and whites.

r. Felice Garingalao-Molina
of Batch 12 led the program
with her opening remarks,
followed by a special message from
Batch 36’s adviser Dr. Jose Nemecio
Granada of Batch 4, and the closing
remarks were given by Dr. Generoso
Licup of Batch 12.
The event
brimmed with touching moments as
the officers from Batch 35 passed on
their will to Batch 36’s officers: GLA

graced with the presence of senior
Asclepians: Dr. Jimmy Jay Bullo of
Batch 14, Dr. Joselito Villaruz of Batch
12, Dr. Agnes Gerasmo of Batch 12, Dr.
Ma. Sancha Apolto-Garcia of Batch 8,
and Honorary Member Dr. Elmer
Hubero.
The event capped off with the singing
of the Asclepian Song and concluded
with great success.
