Biography
Darryl Simmons (born April 15, 1990), musically known as Apollo Mighty, was
born in Memphis, TN. Apollo began singing and songwriting at the age of 7. He
currently attends Visible Music College; where he is a modern music ministry
major with a concentration in voice.
Apollo released the second installment – “VI”- of his trilogy entitled Project 369
on January 15, 2014 exclusively on DJBooth.net. The third and final installment of
the trilogy entitled “IX” will be released May 2014. Project 369 will be released in
its entirety (“III”, “VI”, “IX”) following the release of “IX”.
Apollo cites Brian McKnight, Whitney Houston, The Beatles, Citizen Cope,
Aerosmith, John Legend, Brandy, and Boys 2 Men as his influences.
