OFFICE  MANAGER    

 

 

Course  Hero  is  looking  for  a  top-­‐notch  Office  Manager  who  is  outgoing,  self-­‐motivated  and  an  undeniable  people-­‐
person  to  join  our  team.    In  this  multi-­‐faceted  role,  you  will  be  the  backbone  of  our  office  operations  and  help  
cultivate  a  sustainable  Course  Hero  culture.    You  are  reliable,  intuitive,  detail-­‐oriented  and  resourceful.    You  are  
always  ready  for  new  challenges  and  willing  to  take  full  ownership  of  anything  that  is  entrusted  to  you.  
 
 
You  will:  
 
• Encourage  and  support  an  enthusiastic,  positive  culture  at  the  office  by  organizing  weekly  lunches,  social  
events  (e.g.  anniversary  and  birthday  celebrations,  team  activities,  office  happy  hours  and  holiday  parties)  
and  creating  an  office  space  (e.g.  design,  furniture,  décor)  that  reflects  the  culture  
• Need  to  deeply  understand  and  evangelize  our  company  mission,  vision  and  team  values  through  office  
management  and  related  functions  
• Manage  office  related  vendors  and  building  management  relationships  
• Maintain  a  clean,  efficient,  and  well  organized  office  
• Handle  ordering,  inventory  and  maintenance  of  all  office  and  kitchen  supplies  
• Manage  all  incoming  and  outgoing  mail,  deliveries,  FedEx  and  UPS  shipments  
• Assist  HR  with  new  hire  preparations,  records  management  and  other  projects  
• Assist  management  team  with  meeting  preparations,  travel  arrangements  and  other  miscellaneous  tasks  
 
 
What  we  are  looking  for:  
 
• Someone  who  cares  about  and  believes  in  our  team,  values  and  mission  
• 1-­‐2  years  of  previous  office  management  and/or  executive  administrative  experience;  event  planning  
experience  is  a  plus  
• BA/BS  degree  (in  lieu  of  degree,  combination  of  relevant  skills  and  equivalent  experience  will  suffice)  
• Team  player  with  great  people  skills  and  a  positive  attitude    
• Self-­‐starter  with  the  ability  to  solve  problems,  work  autonomously  and  complete  projects  with  minimal  
supervision  
• Exceptional  organizational  skills  with  strong  attention  to  detail  
• Excellent  communication  skills  (both  written  and  oral)  
• Reliable  and  responsive  with  great  follow-­‐through  skills  and  ability  to  build  trust  
• Experience  and  demonstrated  proficiency  in  Word,  PowerPoint,  Excel  and  Google  Apps
