himself out there, learning
from his past mistakes. No
matter what happens, he will
try his best and adapt to the
situation. Viet Le is one of
the most well rounded
individuals I know, but yet
extremely humble. This guy
is one hell of a hard worker

Tuan’s Birthday
At the last general meeting, it was Tuan’s surprise
party in disguise. Currently, Tuan is 23 years old and
is the most fluent Vietnamese Eboard member. Let’s
just say Tuan’s cultural knowledge has been
awesome in coordinating this year’s events.

Flag Football
For this upcoming month, VSA will be
hosting our first flag football tournament in
history. Thanks to the support and feedback
from all you guys, such an event would have
never come about. Mark and Jason will be
leading this epic event. Come join VSA to
have fun and get some exercise! The
tournament will be double elimination style
with 7 players on each team. If anyone has
any questions or concerns, ask them on our
Facebook page:

Dat Nguyen, a former
NFL player, was the
middle linebacker for the
Dallas Cowboys in the
early 2000s.
VSA Banquet
Last year, VSA Banquet was the last
event of the academic year. VSA
Banquet symbolizes the transition
of the new Eboard core. General
members and faculty staff were
invited to celebrate and had a
fabulous time. This year’s banquet
will be no different as next year’s
Eboard race is slowly dwindling
down. Stop by and support VSA!
“VSA Banquet is the celebration of
new Eboard members.”

The guy above is thee David Bui.
David Bui, the man who lost his other half, has become more than one. In short, David Bui is one of the
greatest gifts that have been sent down on this earth. His story is one that must be told around campfires to
inspire little children to accomplish bouts of bravery, intelligence, and determination. Through the incredible
abilities bestowed upon him, David has made significant contributions to VSA. He has maintained stellar
attendance to the club’s meetings and events. David has also volunteered in helping to run events such as the
Christmas Potluck and Tet at Lowell. Read more about David’s story on UMass Lowell VSA’s Facebook page.
Field Day
On April 19th, Field Day will comprise of several activities such as ultimate Frisbee, kickball,
whiffle ball, volleyball and other mini-games. Similar to one of our last general meetings in the fall
semester, this will be held in a similar fashion such as the mini Olympics. Along with flag football,
this will be one of our main outdoor events where everyone has a chance to become a champion!
