The Only Work At Home Business That Works
By Greg N Reed
Lots of people are attracted to the prospect of quitting their job and having a work at home business
No boss to answer to, no early morning starts and no fighting long queues of traffic on the daily
commute to the office are very appealing reasons to work at home. But with all the choices available
to have a work at home business, the only work at home business that works can be narrowed down to
just 3 ingredients to guarantee success.
Find A Niche: You need to have a product or service that people want. You maybe passionate
about African sandals but if the world is not looking for them, then your business will not survive. I
use the free keyword tool from Wordtracker to do my niche research. Enter in a keyword of keyword
phrase, click on global searches and see how many people were looking for your term over the past
month. Ideally you need at least 10,000 searches per month and preferably ones that have little
competition. A lot of people think more is good but to have your website rank highly for these popular
keywords will take a long time if ever. You are better off going for less searched words and building a
business around that keyword and then moving onto the more popular words later. This approach will
ensure you make money more quickly.
Business Attitude: Most people start a business after leaving a job. In a job you had security of
a pay check. But in a new business venture this will not be the case. Starting a business require you to
have a different attitude. You shouldn't expect to replace your last pay check at your job within 30
days of starting a business. A work at home business requires time and some money. In a job your
company paid for most things. Advertising, office supplies, telephone calls, internet expenses and
distribution costs are just some expenses borne by company’s everyday. As a new owner you will now
have to pick up these expenses your self. The only work at home business that works is one where
the owner has a strong business attitude and realizes that it will take at least 12 months for this new
work at home business to become viable. Rome wasn't built in a day and nor will your business be.
Action: Build it and they will come does not apply in business. You need to go where the market is
and to let people know you are there. Establish yourself as the source for a particular product or
service. Marketing, advertising and branding are all critical for success but the key ingredient here is
action. As Cicero once said " to do is in the doing" Many people fail to take sufficient action for a
sustainable period in order to become successful. Unlike a job where you can occasionally slacken off,
do nothing and still get paid won't be the case in business. You have to do the work in order to get
paid. You must take action daily.
So what is the only work at home business that works? It's one that involves you finding a niche
whereby your product or service is wanted by others. You need to have a business attitude not an
employee mindset. Replacing your job income will take time. And finally but not least important you
need to take action. Encompass all 3 ingredients and you will find the only work at home business that
works for you.

Top 5 Essentials in a House of a Home-Based Professional
By Desare A Kohn-Laski
If you have just purchased a new house to be the nest of your home-based business, then the rest of the
entry is for you. It covers the top 5 essentials necessary to make you a productive home-based worker.
Thus, even if you're on multilevel marketing, virtual assistance, or any other field of home-based
work, the presence of these things in your house should be a priority.
Computer, net book, laptop, smart phone - This group of gadgets will be your main tool for
productivity. They will be your instruments for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations,
databases, and internet surfing. They will also serve as channels to bridge gaps between you and your
clients. From them, you'll be able to send and receive emails, chat, attend video conferences and
webinars, and even make and receive calls. These gadgets will be at the forefront of your home office.
Without them, your home-based business or work will be paralyzed.
Working table and chair - A dedicated table and chair should be present in the home office too. The
duo will be your console where you will perform planning, brainstorming, and other things relevant to
your home-based job. If you have clients coming in your home-based office, then you should have
several chairs to have them seated while dealing business with you. Of course, the chairs where they
have to be seated must be comfy.
Printer - Despite the strong desire to have a paperless working environment, this is very far from
realization. The need for hard copy documents is still very large, thus the essentiality of a printer is
still very feasible for a home-based office. To increase functionality, you can opt for multifunctional
printers. There are brands and models which are inclusive of the functions of copier, scanner, and fax.
Air conditioner - Your home office should be as comfortable as it can be. It will help in increasing
your productivity each day. It will help you become relaxed while working. Thus, you need to
consider the installation of an air conditioner. Aside from being instrumental in mimicking a true
office environment, there are studies showing that it helps in alleviating stress induced by work simply because it helps in refreshing the air that soothes your body while being busy with home work.
Internet connectivity - A home based office would not be complete at all without having an internet
connection. It is the soul of your work which will connect you to the outside world where clients are
roaming and waiting for your services.
If you are looking for a house that is fully-furnished and you want it to have a readily available space
for a home office, you can ask your real estate agent to have it arranged for you. Pretty sure, there is a
professional home decorator and interior designer in his network who can provide such things to you.

Get Your Home-Based Business Up and Running in 5 Easy Steps
By Irene Houston
Starting a home-based business can be very exciting and often fulfilling. But have you ever wondered
how to get it up and running with the minimal of costs? It doesn't have to cost a fortune to set-up a
business from home, but there are a few processes you have to follow:
1. Choose a market/topic
When you're just starting out it really does make sense to make your life as easy as possible, so
choosing topics where you have some knowledge is a good thing. Imagine trying to convince someone
to buy fly fishing gear if you've never fished in your life?!
2. Decide what you want to promote
This is the part where you have a choice. You can offer your own products or services and make
100% profit. The downside is, it may take you some months to get yourself organized to do this. The
alternative is to offer other people's products and make less money, but you work less.
3. Where to find products
Promoting other people's products is called affiliate marketing and you'll find thousands of products
just waiting for you to promote on sites like ClickBank or Amazon. Plus, they take all the hassle away
from refunds, to dealing with dissatisfied customers, you have no contact with the person who bought
4. Where to promote the products
The best way to is build a blog around the product. Use keywords that will attract the attention of
Google and the other search engines and make sure you provide good quality information about the
product itself. You could consider writing a review if you've bought the product(s) yourself. Don't
forget the social media sites too as they can be a great source of online visibility. Build a Facebook
Fan Page around the product and start sending 'tweets' on Twitter stressing the benefits of using the
products. People love benefits that save them time or money or effort.
5. Sign Up for a PayPal account
Most affiliate marketers will pay you via PayPal, some may prefer to pay you by check, but on the
whole I've found payment by PayPal is often the easiest option.
Now, sit back and wait for the money to hit your account! If you've chosen the right product, for the
right market and you're marketing it like crazy then you should see great results in no time! Then it's
time to 'wash, rinse and repeat' and choose another product to promote!

by Bruno Duarte
Be Your Own Boss Start a Home Business
24hoursuccess, home based business, home business, make money online, work from
At some point or another, many people have considered starting their own home
business. Who among us wouldn't love to be their own boss, set their own hours, and
work out of the comfort of their own home? There are many points to consider when
starting your own home business.
Dress for success. Working at home sometimes makes you feel as if you can sit around in
your pajamas. You want to still dress like you are going into the office. This allows you
to be productive and focused on your work.
No matter what type of home business you start, you must have a marketing plan ready to
put into action. Most every business today requires a relationship with the internet, and
there are many marketing packages available on the internet as well as through local and
national media. A successful home based business is never without a successful
Take advantage of the signature line in your email program and make sure it includes the
link to your website. This simple act can generate numerous sales. All email
correspondence with customers, should include this link so that they can easily find their
way back to your website to purchase more product.
If you are just getting started with your home business, make contact with your friends
and family to let them know what you are doing. Word of mouth business can be very
powerful, so simply letting them know of your plans is helpful. Consider offering them a
discount on your product to get them motivated to purchase something.
A good way to gather information on running a home business is join an online forum on
the topic. This way, you can connect with other home business owners and converse
about your situations. Many people who work from home will have the same issues and
problems as you, so you can share solutions.
Promote your home business by offering a coupon for a free sample or a discount for
your services. People are attracted to free offers, so this is a good way to bring in new
customers. People are more willing to try a new business if they do not have to risk their
own money to try it.
First you should explore the type of business which would appeal to you most. Assess
your goals, interests, and capabilities. The most important aspect is that you must enjoy
what you are doing day in and day out. Successful entrepreneurs are the ones who feel
passionate about the business they own. An entrepreneur cannot feel passionate and
driven to success if they do not enjoy what they do!
Utilize social networking to the best of your abilities and then some. If you aren't using
social networking within your home business, you are losing out on a great
communication method that is used by countless businesses today. Social networking
improves your communication, visibility, and even your reputation within the target
group you have chosen.
Write your way to a home based business. If you enjoy writing, and have plenty to say
consider a business in article marketing. You can make money by writing content for the
internet. You can write at your own pace and market your skills anywhere you want.
There is huge potential in article marketing.
The idea of starting a home business is appealing to many people, and rightfully so.
Starting a home business need not be as daunting as it might seem. The more you have
thought out the steps needed, the better prepared you will be to make a success of it.
