Arts, Social Studies, and Science curriculum, as well as Test Preparation
for the GED, SAT, ACT, ASVAB, a variety of states’ High School Exit
Exams, and much more. And all consolidated on our easy-to-use eTAP
website! Your membership to eTAP includes access for your entire

family, all grade levels, all subjects, and all test prep for one very affordable price.
Quality Content – Lessons combine text and assessments along with other relevant videos and online
learning resources to better accommodate audio/visual learners and maximize learning for students
with different learning styles. Content is presented in an easy-to-read, functional format. Vocabulary is
age appropriate. No additional books are needed. Alignment to National, California, New York and Texas
State Standards are provided.
Increased Achievement - Research shows that most students' first choice of activity is the internet. Pair
that finding with John Dewey's research showing that the most effective education is when the student
is actively involved in their learning process. eTAP allows students to choose their learning resources
and proceed at their own learning pace, hence actively learning, and retaining more. In school testing,
the eTAP program has greatly increased achievement of students experiencing difficulty with traditional
school programs.
Self-Paced Instruction – Each lesson provides a general guideline for time needed, yet each student
develops mastery at their own speed. Or may even grasp understanding in a Science lesson faster than a
current Math unit. eTAP allows for a non-threatening pace for individuals needing more time and
practice where ever necessary. Conversely, motivated students may accelerate coursework, and
advance units, lessons, and even grade levels as quickly as mastery is achieved.
Middle School - eTAP provides quality curriculum for the core
subjects of Mathematics, English, History and Science for grades
1 through 12.
The Middle grades include questions, instruction, connection to
supplemental free educational videos and other internet learning
resources that students may use to answer any questions they
This curriculum is divided into Lessons, with topics shown in the Table of Contents (TOC). These lessons
are grouped by subject and grade level. Each lesson contains.
Lesson Plan/Preview
Instructional Content and/or Links
Pretest, Practice & Post Tests
Links to free videos, interactive educational games and supplemental information
Homeschool - Parents can use eTAP as their complete instructional program or as a supplement to other
programs that they are using. Homeschool parents easily provide supervision of their children's
education using resources from eTAP. Other homeschool parents enroll in local charter or public schools
with independent study programs. Some of these schools will pay for eTAP membership fees.

It is recommended that each of your students spend about four hours a day on the four core subjects.
This will vary from day to day, allowing homeschoolers flexibility for other valuable learning experiences
outside the home such as visits to the library, museums, parks, art, music lessons, and sports.
Public and private school - Students use eTAP's tutorial style learning to supplement their existing
classroom and textbook instruction. The lessons and the attached resources are easily used to provide
further detail, more practice, and remediation, as necessary. eTAP simplifies instruction for students
that have had difficulty succeeding in the traditional classroom. And, as a result, has greatly increased
the success of students with different learning styles (Comments ) by allowing them to select the
learning resources that best fit their needs.
High School - High School Subjects include Mathematics, English,
History and Science content meeting key state and national standards.
All lessons provide formative assessments, instruction, connection to
free supplemental educational videos and other internet learning
resources that students may use to answer their questions or further
explore. Students may complete their high school courses early.
Included in eTAP are complete test preparation and review courses
for the common college entrance exams including the SAT and ACT, the ASVAB for the military, and the
When students complete eTAP's high school courses, community college classes that are transferable to
universities are an excellent next step. Also, students may choose courses that prepare them for
employment in medical and technical jobs. As an alternative, students can take the SAT & ACT exam for
direct admittance to most four-year colleges or universities.
eTAP Teaching Assistance Program - eTAP is designed to increase the success of students from prekindergarten through high school. The curriculum is assessment-based learning, and includes
instruction, practice exercises and pretest, practice and post tests for each unit. An extensive collection
of relevant learning resources are directly linked to lessons, including audio/video tutorials, supporting
text and video content, and interactive activities to motivate and engage students. In addition to those
looking for a complete online K-12 curriculum, eTAP is ideal for allowing students to complete their
understanding of new instruction, teachers who want supplemental resources, and parents seeking
tutoring help for their children. Students have used eTAP successfully for Homeschooling, Classroom
Instruction, Independent Study and Special Education. It is also used for students with English as Second
Language, High School standardized test preparation, after-school remedial programs, and many other,
with truly amazing results. Please read our Success Stories for more information and ideas.
