Plains Fed Cattle Trade Quiet At Midweek, Sides $4-5 Apart
Panhandle fed cattle trade was at a standstill at midweek, private reports showing a few
packer bids at $141 and asking prices around $145-146.
Post-Holiday Lamb Prices Steady To Up
San Angelo slaughter and feeder lambs were $10-20 higher this week. Fredericksburg lamb
prices were strong. Hamilton lambs all sold steady.
Slaughter Meat Goat Prices Higher In Most Recent Sales
Slaughter meat goat prices were mostly higher in most recent trading. Hamilton quoted
kids $5 lower, but Fredericksburg was $10 higher, San Angelo $10-20 higher and New
Holland, Pennsylvania $10-15 higher per head. Goldthwaite quoted no trend.
