Family Memorials Etchings
The popularity of Family Memorials etched memorials continues to grow as
more and more of our customers become aware of the unlimited variety of
subjects possible with this form of ornamentation.
Etchings are most successful and have the greatest clarity when applied to
black granite. We can etch from photographs onto the stone, and then color the
etchings to give them a very natural appearance. We have many designs to
choose from, including landscapes, angels, religious symbols and flowers.
Many of our customers have chosen to have us etch a portrait of a loved
one onto a memorial. Our artisans are proficient in etching remarkable faithful
portraits of individuals, couples, and groups into our monuments. Whatever your
choice, we can guide you through the steps.
Etchings are produced with a special laser etching technology. When
weather sealed into the stone it is quite permanent. Like all of our work, Family
Memorials etched memorials are guaranteed by our full perpetual warranty.
An additional option for granite etching is black and white or colored Glass
Art Etching. We are the only company in the North East that can manufacture the
patented G.L.A.S.S. (Granite, Lasered, Augmented, Silicated, and Sealed) Art
process. The Glass Art process was developed specifically for the monument
industry to provide the brightest, most colorful and long lasting images for any
type of granite. This process uses high powered lasers to literally melt the granite
into a form of glass. The imaging is engraved deep into the stone; dramatically
increasing its durability in virtually any environment.
