I would like to apply for the Consulting Services Intern position at the offices of Siemens based in
Singapore as advertised on your website. This position appeals to me because of my strong interest
in working as a consultant for an international company based in Singapore.
As a final year student at ESIEE Paris, a French Engineering School, an internship starting as soon
as February the 2nd of 2015 would allow me to get the 6 months working experience needed to
fulfill the requirements of my school in order to get my Master’s Degree in Information Systems in
October 2015. I believe the experience acquired with this position would be much valuable. That is
why I would be really enthusiastic to dedicate myself working for Siemens.
Being currently on an exchange semester at the School of Software Engineering of Beijing Jiaotong
University to fulfill my passion for software development, I had the opportunity to become
proficient in problem solving, architecture analysis and design, software development and project
management -especially with Agile methods, after following a formation with Eurogiciel and
successfully managing many school projects. I believe I could fit in your team quickly since my
previous working experience in Singapore and Beijing were successful. Moreover, my international
schooling, in addition of giving me a good opportunity to perfect my English, taught me many
varied skills and how to adapt easily to new situations and different type of work, that is why I am
confident I would be a valuable intern for Siemens.
