Dear Members,
Once again we take the proud opportunity of presenting you with yet another
brand new issue of the ODOP Newsletter. It gives us pleasure to announce that
the date & month of publication of this second issue also coincides with the
second birthday of One Day One Photo – Let’s Click (ODOP-LC). The second issue
of our newsletter is dedicated to our beloved friend Shantanu Ghosh, whom we
lost on June, this year.
The journey that began on 21st November 2012, has come a long way & in the last
two years we have achieved more than what we expected. It’s not just about 31
photo-walks or the largest membership base with 17,000+ members that reflects
the group’s strength, but the warmth that has spread across the group and the
enthusiasm of every member that has made us what we are today.
It’s a request to all members to keep sending your feedbacks, articles, photos,
photo-stories since those would help us for the betterment of the group in the
long run.
With Best Wishes,
Sutirtha Das
On behalf of ODOP-LC.

Memories…
"Shantanu Ghosh, a person who can never be defined by mere words. He lived his
life to the fullest and spread happiness all along. He was an avid photographer,
foodie, a traveler and a great friend. A person who would always be there in need
of others. A soul gifted to earth for a very brief period of time. Shantanu Ghosh, a
soul that touched, healed, and was loved by all.
I knew him for less than a year, had a few meet-ups along with our photography
group where we had discussions about photography and everything else under
the sun. The favorite spot for adda was Barista, Dover Lane. From the short film to
photo-walks to coffee breaks, saw him everywhere, sitting, talking, smiling,
listening, calm, quiet and composed. He was a good sport and had a very positive
view on life, a kind heart and a loving person.
Our very own Shantanu da. We shall never forget to remember him."
