I’m new to the department, what is the Spring Soiree?
The Pharmacy Spring Soiree is an annual social event organised by members of the Pharmacy department. It is the only night of the year aimed
at getting the whole of the Pharmacy dept. together in one place. Whether you work at the JR, Churchill, Horton, NOC, CTASU, Stores or
Cancer Satellite- if you work in Pharmacy, you are welcome. Ex-OUH Pharmacy staff are also welcome, so this offers a good opportunity to see
some old faces again. Now in its third year, with your help we want the Soiree to be bigger and better than ever before.

The venue is situated just 3 miles from Oxford City centre, but also offers easy access from A34 and Ring Road.

What time does it start/end?
Please arrive from 6:30pm
Food will be served from 7pm
Last orders at bar: 11:45pm - all to exit by 12:30am
When do tickets go on sale?

Now! Tickets will be on sale from Wednesday 7th January until Friday 13th March at 5pm. No tickets will be on sale after Friday 13 March.
How many tickets are available?
The venue has a strict capacity of 110 people. Once we reach this number of tickets sold we will be unable to sell anymore, regardless of how
long before the event it is. (Reserved tickets are included in this number). When we have less than 20 tickets left we will communicate this.

How do I get a ticket?
There are three ways to buy a ticket.
Cash: You can buy a ticket in person from a member of the Soiree team. There are team members or people on every site who can sell you a
ticket. (See below to see who you can buy from and where)
Paypal: Tickets can be purchased online using Paypal. Send a payment of £30 to “stevenmarkorton@hotmail.com” (see “how to guide” by

I haven’t got the money until pay day, can I reserve a ticket now?
This year we are introducing a new way for guests to be able to reserve a ticket and ensure you are able to attend. If you want to go to the
Soiree but cannot afford to buy the ticket until pay day, then you can pay a non-refundable deposit of £10 to reserve your ticket. Then you pay
the remainder of the ticket price (£20) after the next pay day. Remember numbers are strictly limited to 110. So the only way to ensure you are
able to attend is to buy your ticket early.
What are the food choices?
You will be served a 3 course meal from a set menu. You have the choice of two options for each course. The options are:
Starter: Roasted Tomato & Basil Soup, Herb Croutons with Cream or Chicken Liver Parfait, Tomato & Apple Chutney with wholemeal toast
Main:
Chicken Forestiere with Minted New Potatoes and veg or Roasted Pork Loin, Duchess Potatoes and Cream Cider Sauce
Dessert: Raspberry Crème Brulée or Chocolate Terrine and Orange Syrup
When you buy a ticket please give your food choices to the team member.
Vegetarian option is available, please let us know if you require this or if you have any dietary requirements, we will let you know the options.

Prices do not including an extra camp bed. These are available in certain rooms only for an extra £20. (This may be a good option for groups as
you can split the room cost with an extra person) If, as a party we book 15+ rooms then we get exclusive use of the WHOLE venue
I want to dance to my favourite song, can I request it?

Requests will not be accepted on the night.
