Forces and Motion

Y

ou slowly rise up to the top of the first crest. Suddenly, gravity pulls
you down the other side. Your velocity increases rapidly. Within seconds you are plummeting downward at over 95 km/h. When you
reach the bottom of the hill, you are forced down into your seat so hard that
it feels like you weigh 2000 N (200 kg). Then a hairpin turn slams you to one
side. Before you can react, you are hurled into a death-defying loop and find
yourself upside down! After another minute of terrifying hills, curves, dips,
and loops the ride is over.
