There is just a single hotel base for this tour, giving you the opportunity to unpack, relax and
allow us to show you the best scenery and biking roads that the North of England can offer. If
you have never toured this area before, you cannot fail to be impressed with the natural
beauty of the Dales, the tranquillity of the Lakes or the enjoyment that the roads of the
Northern Pennines will give you. Having run tours in this area since 1996 , we know every
nook and cranny and are constantly changing our routes, so even if you have been with us
before, we feel sure you will enjoy something new.
This tour will appeal to all riders but is an ideal opportunity for those who perhaps have not
toured before to give it a try before tackling something a little longer or even joining us
abroad.

Accommodation
Your accommodation for the weekend is a 3 star hotel conveniently situated between the
Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District making it ideal for touring the English Lake District and
Yorkshire Dales. The hotel has become a firm favourite with with customers and ourselves
alike due to its friendliness, comfort and great food. All bedrooms are en-suite with ‘phone,
TV and drinks-making facilities. Your stay includes all evening meals and full regional
breakfasts.
VALUE TOUR - This tour is especially good value, as all evening meals are included leaving you only to budget for lunch, petrol and drinks
Friday 26th September - Today you will travel to your 3 star hotel on the outskirts of the
beautiful Lake District, arriving in time for a traditional evening meal and a get-to-know-you
session with your fellow riders and Guide for the weekend.
Saturday 27th September - Our tours depart after breakfast, and are led by an
experienced guide, so not only is no map-reading required. but you can be sure that you are
seeing the best scenery, the right places and enjoying some great biking roads. Many people
are apprehensive about riding in a group, but we use a simple ‘drop off’ system which allows
you to travel at your own pace. All our Guided Tours are very relaxed, we do ride all day, but
there will be a leisurely lunch break and stops for refreshments, photo opportunities or just to
stretch your legs. We will return to the hotel around 1700 hrs. Although the tour is fully
guided, you are of course, welcome to explore on your own - your guide will be able to
advise you on things to see and do in the area.
Sunday 28th September - today will be a repeat of yesterday’s format, our destination will
be decided on the day, but with the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and
Northern Pennines on our door step we will be spoilt for choice.
Monday 4th August - The tour finishes after breakfast, after which, we bid our farewells
and return home.
