Unfair Cal Poly SLO Parking Citations (PDF)

RESPONSE and PETITION TO VOID
Alleged parking violation.
Having followed parking instructions posted for VISITORS as posted below;

My automobile was parked as directed. It can be seen to the left of the word “Visitor.” There is
a plainly evident entrance indicated to the left of this sign.

As one can easily see from this and the following photographs, there are NO other restrictions on
parking posted or marked anywhere along this direction.

The entrance indicated has NO posted restrictions.

Furthermore, as seen in the next photograph, there are NO markings on the pavement, on the
curb, or posted along the curb where this automobile is parked, indicating any other restriction or
instructions.

Notice that there are NO visible posted restrictions easily seen beyond the single “Visitor
Parking” sign shown previously. (Reverse view, sign right-center of frame.)

I believe it is plain in consideration of all principles of law, that this alleged parking violation
cannot stand. One cannot be prosecuted for acting in accordance with plain instruction in good
faith.
If the citation is not voided, I request a trial based on the above evidence.

I declare all of the foregoing to be true and correct to the best of my knowledge, under penalty of
perjury under the laws of the State of California.
