Music Video Treatment “I'm here”
Chorus Part 1:
Inside the prison, on the cell block. The main character is sitting alone in his
cell. He's writing in a,
journal book very intensely. As we read it we can seeing it says, “I'm ain't
never going back to that
life”, on the pages. He is distributed by the prison guard, who opens his cell
and tells him “it's time to
go.” The main character walks down the cell block, past all the other locked
up inmates. He briefly
looks at each one's faces and smiles.
Vocals Part 1:
The main character is at his welcome home party. It's a back yard barbecue
party with all of his family
and friends. He arrives to the party last, but is greeted in a grand style. Hugs
and kiss from the females.
Daps and salutes from the males. He works his way through the crowd and
searches for his mother. He
finds her and they hug and kiss hello. His mom is happy to see him, but she is
emotional and starts
crying. He consuls her, holding her hand and starts explaining to her that,

Chorus Part 2:
The next day the main character is out job hunting. Dressed very professional in a
suit and tie. He has a
classified paper with lots of jobs circled. He navigates his way through the city to
make each job
interview. As his finishes a interview he crossing them off. We observe him during
a job interview. He
starts performing the song live in the office, gaining the attention of several his

from the entire staff.
They hand him a sign that says, “Hired!”
Main character enters the local night club and everyone is happy to see him. The
club is packed on this
friday night. The ladies are dressed sexy and appear beautiful. All the dudes are

dancing and having fun. The D.J at the club tonight is friends with the main
character and he sees him.
He leaves the D.J booth and walks over to dap up. They hug and laugh about

humble, but then a sexy lady catches his eye and he decides to do it. The main
character takes to the
stage and starts performing in front of the crowd. Who are not paying him any

He leaves his house in the morning, dressed professional and heading to work. As
he walks down his
block, he see some old friends still out in the street hustling. They wave at him to
come over, but the
main character just waves back. He gestures that he's going to be late for work. He
keeps on walking by
In the neighborhood, the street dudes are on the corner hustling. They work the
corner all day.
The main character is at the college library. He's sitting in front of a pile of books,
studying. We see his
prison journal next to him on the table.
The main character comes home from school and sees his street friends all being
arrested, by the
police. He shakes his head ashamed for them and keeps working home.
The main character wakes up in his prison cell. Holding his prison journal close to
his chest. The guard
comes and opens his cell telling him, “You're being released today.” The main
character gathers his
things and leaves the cell, but forgets his prison journal on the bed.
