THIS IS NEW
At Hyundai, our progress to becoming the world’s
fastest growing vehicle manufacturer has come about
by focussing on producing cars that embody quality,
innovation and individuality… cars that are underpinned
by 5-star quality in design, build, features and safety.
Each new vehicle is the product of new thinking; of
questioning the way things have been done in the
past. Along the way, we have invested in world-class
manufacturing, recruited some of the most respected
and astute automotive engineers and designers, and
at every opportunity leveraged the transformative
powers of leading edge technologies.
In every way, and from every angle, our newest and
most exciting creation exemplifies this commitment
and dedication to new thinking.
The arrival of Genesis not only reflects the evolution of
Hyundai, but also demonstrates the exceptional end
result that can be achieved when new thinking is
applied to design, innovation and performance. Genesis
is the result of not thinking in terms of ‘now’, but rather
through imagining ‘what’s next’.
It provides the next iteration of safety to make both
car and driver more responsive to potential hazards.
And it harnesses innovative technologies to keep
you connected to your world, and provide superior
By combining all of this, Genesis delivers a deeply
satisfying driving experience.

In designing Genesis, we set out to re-imagine the
premium sedan. To create a vehicle that’s emotional
and evocative, yet restrained and elegant. One that
balances its striking road presence with a highly
rewarding driving experience.
This approach has already led to the 2015 Genesis
capturing the imagination of both motorists and the
When it comes to its brilliant use of technology,
Genesis was named by the CES International Consumer
Electronics Show, TechHive and PC World, as winner of
the ‘Best Car Tech’ category.
Other accolades have included: ‘Highest Ranked
Midsize Premium Car in Initial Quality’ for two years in
a row by the industry rating agency J.D. Power, while
Kelly’s Blue Book named it one of the ‘Top 10 Best
Luxury Cars’ in its category.
“Genesis took nearly four years in development.
Throughout, we always kept the basics in mind...
the balanced stance, the proportions, a lower
overall height, a shorter overall overhang at the
front and the rear, having a great sporty profile,
and having a great sculptural design, as well as a
great surface contrast.”

The sleek flowing lines and assured exterior styling
of Genesis embody the second generation of our
Fluidic Sculpture design philosophy. Combined with a
aerodynamic form further enhances the exceptional
driving dynamics, while the premium hexagonal grille
heightens the sophisticated contemporary look.
For its design aesthetics, Genesis was a winner at the
prestigious European ‘Red Dot Design Awards’ in 2014.

WIDE PANORAMA GLASS ROOF
The fluidic design philosophy extends to the twin-panel panorama glass roof*. Flooding the
cabin with light, it also provides shade and insulation from wind, and offers relief from the
heat and external noise. At the touch of a button, the front roof panel opens for an even
sportier driving experience, while a wind deflector reduces the vibration effects of wind.
