EVOLUTION
OF FORM

In designing Genesis, we set out to re-imagine the
premium sedan. To create a vehicle that’s emotional
and evocative, yet restrained and elegant. One that
balances its striking road presence with a highly
rewarding driving experience.
This approach has already led to the 2015 Genesis
capturing the imagination of both motorists and the
motoring media.
When it comes to its brilliant use of technology,
Genesis was named by the CES International Consumer
Electronics Show, TechHive and PC World, as winner of
the ‘Best Car Tech’ category.
Other accolades have included: ‘Highest Ranked
Midsize Premium Car in Initial Quality’ for two years in
a row by the industry rating agency J.D. Power, while
Kelly’s Blue Book named it one of the ‘Top 10 Best
Luxury Cars’ in its category.

SCULPTURE
PHILOSOPHY
The sleek flowing lines and assured exterior styling
of Genesis embody the second generation of our
Fluidic Sculpture design philosophy. Combined with a
reinforced

high-strength

steel

structure

this

aerodynamic form further enhances the exceptional
driving dynamics, while the premium hexagonal grille
heightens the sophisticated contemporary look.
For its design aesthetics, Genesis was a winner at the
prestigious European ‘Red Dot Design Awards’ in 2014.

WIDE PANORAMA GLASS ROOF
The fluidic design philosophy extends to the twin-panel panorama glass roof*. Flooding the
cabin with light, it also provides shade and insulation from wind, and offers relief from the
heat and external noise. At the touch of a button, the front roof panel opens for an even
sportier driving experience, while a wind deflector reduces the vibration effects of wind.
