The character trait for this November is EMPATHY. This month, the students were instructed
about bullying and how only a few words can help stop it. The students showed compassion
towards the sufferers who were hurt by bullying.
EMPATHY is the sensation of deep sympathy for another who is stricken by bad luck,
accompanied by a strong desire to reduce the victim. Educators held assemblies to make the
students knowledgeable about how bullying can influence the lives of the sufferers and that those
who do not assist stop it likewise assist in the act of bullying.
An assembly will be held at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27th in the auditorium. A
student from each course who showed COMPASSION towards their fellow students will be
granted a certificate in the acknowledgement for their efforts.

animals and the entire of nature and its beauty." Albert Einstein

November was compassion and the grade 5 class presented an act that enacted the means to
reveal, and not to show empathy. Our students were led in a conversation about the significance
of being a thoughtful person, as formerly gone over with our November observance of
Remembrance and Anti Bullying Days. The following students were granted a certification for
showing the most empathy: Kindergarten: Victor A., Grade 1: Elizabeth D., Grade 2: Eva S.,
Grade 3: Elena M., Grade 4: Sasha I., Grade 5: Anya S., Grade 6: Alice I., Grade 7/8: Yigit E.
WINTER SEASON FOOD DRIVE
The Private School in Toronto is having a food drive for the month of December, and we are
asking all parents to send their youngsters to school with non-perishable food items that we can
donate to the regional food bank. We are gathering the food products until December 18th.
"Spread the Cheer This Time of Year".
BE KIND
For the month of December students at The Prestige School focused on the character
characteristic of KINDNESS. Kindness suggests to be thoughtful and nice to others without
expecting to have this kind act went back to us. It is about putting other individuals ahead of
ourselves and taking the time to be there when they require us. Showing kindness is a decision
that nobody controls except ourselves.

At our character quality assembly it was Mrs. Jaclyn's grade 1 class that motivated and reminded
us all about kindness. Kindness is a quality that we must not only throughout the holiday, however
all year long. Thank you to Mrs. Jaclyn's grade 1 course for an exceptional tune and dance about
kindness.
These are the students who received the awards for showing kindness this month:.
Kindergarten: Maria.
Grade 1: Sasha.
Grade 2: Sabrina.
Grade 3: Marko.
Grade 4: Stefania.
Grade 5: Paul.
Grade 6: Stacey.
Grade 7 and 8: Anna.
HONESTY WITH A LITTLE BIT OF KINDNESS.
The character trait for the month of February was sincerity. On Thursday, February 27th, Mrs.
Brenda and the grade 3 students organized the assembly. They instructed us all that despite the
fact that sincerity is the very best policy, it is alright to break the guidelines by adding a little bit of
kindness. By always mentioning to the reality, you can hurt people inadvertently. It is nice to
include kindness to the truth in order to make one's day.
The students who verified that they could be honest the entire month were:.
Kindergarten: Gleb A.
Grade 1: Yaara Y.
Grade 2: Ryan K.
Grade 3: Daria B.
Grade 4: Stephania O.
Grade 5: Allen L.
Grade 6: Alina K.
Grade 7/8: Rui T.
Let us all pick up from the grade three's example that despite the fact that sincerity is significantly
valued, so is kindness. When those 2 qualities are combined, they create the utmost plan. We
can not have one without the other.
Be honest with yourself, and you will certainly find the motivation to do exactly what you
recommend others to do.
- Vince Poscente.
