Date: 14/03/2015, Day- 7
1. Industrial Visit to Mother
The club members went for an
industrial visit to the Mother Dairy
Factory at Dankuni. As we are
engineers so this is very much
necessary for us to have some live
experience of an industry, we had a
great time over there. At first we had
a briefing session on the firm and the
details, mechanism, product
manufacture and packaging of
various products for almost one and
half hour. Then we went for the
factory tour. We saw each and every
machine with their details and
mechanism. After that we got a
chance to taste one of their products
and give them a review. We started
our journey at 10.00 AM and
returned at 2.00 PM.

2. Swachh Bharat Aviyaan
We went to Liluah Station at 4 PM for
Swachh Bharat Aviyaan, A
Cleanliness Drive. We clean the
station as well as the nearby areas of
the station. We tried to aware the
people of the station for the cleanliness
of our society. There were 30
Rotaractors with our college staffs.
We clean the area with brooms,
banners, brushes, dirt-pickers,
movable dustbins, placards, bleaching
powder etc. At the same time we
maintained personal hygiene by
making use of sterilized gloves,
medicated facial masks and aprons.
The best part of the project was the
immediate reaction of the public to
our action. Seeing us following this
initiative, we could see people
refrained from their habit of littering
around as a mark of respect to our
efforts. This was how we had a
successfully concluded project.
