Jennifer Hertz, M.D. completed her surgical training in Orthopedic Surgery at LAC+USC
Medical Center in 2013. Following her time at LAC+USC, Dr. Hertz spent a year at The
Philadelphia Hand Center at Jefferson, completing her fellowship in Hand and Upper
Extremity and Microvascular Surgery in 2014. Prior to earning her medical degree from
Keck School of Medicine, she graduated with honors from University of Pennsylvania
with a degree in Biologic Basis of Behavior.

Dr. Hertz treats conditions of the elbow, forearm, wrist, hand and finger including
osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, vascular disease, vascular injuries, nerve
compression syndromes, nerve injuries, fractures, ligament injuries, tendon injuries
and lacerations, overuse injuries, infection, nail deformity, and nail bed injuries.
Dr. Hertz believes that patient care needs to be tailored to the individual and enjoys
finding a treatment plan whether conservative or surgical to help each patient
maximize their function and minimize their pain.
Dr. Hertz attends national meetings, seminars, and training sessions to remain skilled in
the newest advancements in hand and upper extremity surgery. Professional
Associations: American Society for Surgery of the Hand, American Association for Hand
Surgery, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
