Rotaract Club of MCKV institute of
Engineering organized RotaSports
2K15 on 3-5 April, 2015, an inter
th

college & inter Rotaract club
competition at our college campus.
This was a grand Success. There are
various games like badminton for
boys doubles, girls doubles and mixed
doubles; basketball for girls and boys,
gully cricket and football. There are
more than 20 teams participating in
gully cricket, but lastly the winner is
Future Institute of Engineering &
Management and runner-up is MCKV
Institute of Engineering. In football
there are more than 16 teams
participated and SKFGI bagged the
winning prize and Narula Institute of
Technology bagged the runner up
prize. In basket ball there are more
than 10 teams for boys and girls. In

boys the winning team is MCKVIE
and runner up team is NITMAS and
in girls the final match was a draw
between NITMAS & AOT. In
badminton more than 24 teams in
boys’ doubles, 8 teams in girls’ doubles
and 12 teams in mixed doubles. In
men’s doubles the winners were
Keshab Roy & Dhiraj Saha from
Hemchandra South City College and
runners up were SagarHarbab &
Sudipta Mukherjee from
Surendranath College. In Women’s
Doubles the winners were Nisha
Banerjee & Anwesha Sarkar from
Hemchandra South City College and
runners up were Surbhi Agarwal &
Madhurima Mukherjee from
MCKVIE. In mixed doubles the
winners were Keshab Roy & Nisha
Banerjee from Hemachandra South
City College and runners up were

Krishnajyoti Gupta & Surbhi
Agarwal from MCKVIE.

Prize Distribution of RotaSports

Blood Donation Camp
We organized it in this year for the

Prize distribution of rotasports 2K15

second time on 19th April, 2015 at our

college campus. The blood bank was

college fest on 19th April. The prizes are

Aabar Khabo, The food Vegas
Continues…
On 18th April jointly with other club RC MCKVIE organized
and participated in a food festival & food Selling
Competition named abar khabo, the food Vegas continues…
at Shovabajar Natmandir to celebrate the Bengali new year
with the touch of Bengali food. Rotaractors of our clubs gave
a stall over there and sell 4 types of foods on the theme of
“Bangaliyana o Jolopan” like “lobongolotika”, “gulabi Lassi”,
“Ghugni” & “Payes”. And lastly the judges were impressed by
the foods and we bagged the runner-up prize for the “Gulabi
Lassi”.

Ek Sathe Boisakhe
Ek Sathe Boisakhe is jointly organized
by RC MCKVIE with many other clubs
and initiated by Rotaract Club of
Barasat Central. This is also held on 18th
April at Shovabajar Natmandir. It was
a cultural evening to celebrate the
Bengali New Year. Everyone was in
traditional attire. Rtr. Navneet sings a
song & Rtr. Sayantonee recites a poem
both of which were praised by others.
This was a great Bengali evening with
lots of bangaliyana. An evening to
remember. A warm welcome to the
Bengali New Year by having cultural
program, addas, foods & lots more.
