A Call for Artwork Submission:
Maple Grove Arts Center 2015 Member show is now taking submissions. Open to all members
of MGAC. If you’d like to participate but are not yet a member, become one today! Join online

Eligibility:
Entries must be original work created solely by the artist in the last 5 years and not previously
exhibited at Maple Grove Art Center (MGAC). Both 2D and 3D artwork will be allowed.
Media:
Recent paintings, drawings, fibers, batik, hand pulled prints, sculpture and photography that is
digitally enhanced is allowed only if clearly marked as such
All accepted entries must remain on exhibit for the duration of the show – July 7 - 31, 2015.
Every precaution will be taken in handling artwork, but no responsibility is assumed by MGAC
for loss or damage of any kind. Maple Grove Art Center cannot be responsible for loss or
damage. Submission of these works indicates acceptance of these conditions. Artists who desire
to insure their work must make their own arrangements.
Exclusions:
No class-work, food-stuffs, hazardous materials or fragile work can be accepted.
Exhibition Hours:
Gallery hours will be posted on the Maple Grove Art Center website. maplegroveartscenter.org
Submission Rules & Entry Fees
Registration form and procedures attached. Artwork, entry form, fee and release must be
delivered to MGAC at time of submission.
The entry fee for this show, being a celebration of our members work, is waived.
Center requires a 25% commission (donation) on all sales resulting from this show. Artists are
responsible for all related sales tax.

- Saturday, June 20th - 11 AM to 2 PM
- Tuesday, June 23rd - 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM
- Monday, June 29th - 4:30 to 7:00 PM
Pick-up of Artwork
- Saturday, August 1st- 11 AM to 2 PM
- Monday, August 3rd - 4:30 to 7:30 PM
• Additional drop-off times can be found by visiting our website. Click on the day that works for
you to see if the gallery is staffed during that time.
• Items eligibility prior to submission, email with PDF or jpeg photo attachment can be juried
prior to delivery: kclark@maplegroveartscenter.org
• Exhibition is free and open to the public during regular center hours and during center
scheduled activities. Group and special appointments can be arranged by email request.
• Maple Grove Days occurs during the course of this show - Saturday, July 11th and
Sunday, July 12th.
Entry Form:
Deadline is July 2nd – If you would like to be “pre-juried,” please send an email before July 2nd
with completed application and photos of your work to: KClark@maplegroveartscenter.org.

• Please complete and submit the last page of this application during drop off. The remainder of
the application should be kept on file by the artist.

• Please attach a label to the back of your artwork. This label should include
- Artist Name
- Title of Piece
- Orientation piece should be hung ( if not obvious or part of a series)
