Famous Places for Visit into Andaman Island
Samudrika (Naval Marine Museum):: Situated opposite to Andaman Teal House, Delanipur this museum is meant to create
awareness on various aspects of oceanic environment. A good collection of shells, corals and a few species of colorful fishes found in
these islands are on display.
Corbin’s Cove Tourism Complex:: One of the most picturesque sea-beaches, it is ideal for sea bathing and sun-basking. The
Waves Restaurant, The Peerless Resort nearby and the Hornbill Nest Guest House at a stone's throw, provide a kaleidoscopic view
of the blue water front.
Chidiya Tapu (25 kms. from Port Blair) :: Chidiya Tapu is the southern most tip of South Andaman. The lush green mangroves,
forest cover with numerous chirping birds and the Sylvan Sands and Munda pahar beaches
Mount Harriet (55 km, by road/15 km by ferry and road from Port Blair) :: The summer headquarters of the Chief
Commissioner during British Raj, this place is an ideal for a nice and fascinating over view of the outer islands and the sea. It is the
highest peak in the South Andamans (365 meters high).
Jolly Buoy Island:: An island in Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, it offers a breath taking underwater view of coral and
marine life. It is an ideal place for snorkeling, sea bathing and basking on the sun kissed beach.
Mud volcano:: It’s created by natural gases emitted by decaying organic matter underground. As the mud is pushed upwards by
the gas, it deposits and hardens above ground. As more mud oozes out and spills over the edge it grows in size, gradually forming
what you can see today - a miniature volcano with a rich, creamy mud crater at the top.
Parrot Island:: It’ a tiny island situated near Baratang. It is home to thousands of parrots. During sunset, thousands of parrots
come in groups to settle in that island. The landing of parrots can be viewed from boats and it's an incredible experience to watch
such a huge number of parrots landing there.
Red Skin Island:: Another island in Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park has a nice beach and offers spectacular view of corals
and marine life.
Havelock Island:: About 38 Kms. from Port Blair, this island provides idyllic resort in the lap of virgin beach and unpolluted
environment. Camping facility is available near Radha nagar beach .
Ross Island:: Once the seat of British power and capital of these Islands, it stands now as a ruin of the bygone days with the old
structure almost in debris. A small museum named 'Smritika' holds photographs & antiques of the British period .
Neil Island:: 36 Kms from Port Blair , This beautiful island with lush green forest and sandy beaches is the vegetable bowl of
Andamans. Connected by boat from Port Blair four days a week, it provides an ideal holiday for eco-friendly tourists.
Rangat :: About 170 km. by road from Port Blair, it provides an ideal place for eco-friendly tourist seeking the lap of sun, sea and
fun. The land route form port Blair involves crossing of creeks and dense tropical rain forest. Cutbert Bay beach is nearby which is
a turtle nesting ground.
Mayabunder :: About 70 km. by road from Rangat ( 242 Kms from Port Blair ) , provides serene holiday in an unpolluted
environment and great scenic beauty. there are many islands and beaches around Mayabunder. Avis Island just opposite can be
reached by motorized boat. the most fascinating beach is the Karma tang beach 12 km. from Mayabunder.
Diglipur ( 300 kms by road/180 kms. by sea) :: Situated in North Andaman Island, Diglipur experience for eco-friendly
tourists. It is famous for its oranges, rice and marine life. Mayabunder to Kalighat by Boat then by road to Diglipur (25 kms.) .

beaches on Havelock and was named "Best Beach in Asia" by Time in 2004 . You can explore one another beach the Elephants Beach

at the vast coral colonies, you can also enjoy snorkelling & other water sports activity ( optional activity ) on this island ,then return Port Blair
. Later proceed for visit Mount Harriet (65 km, by road from Port Blair ). The summer headquarters of the Chief Commissioner during British

North Andaman Island, Diglipur provides a rare experience for eco-friendly tourists. It is famous for its oranges, rice and marine life. Kalpong
- the only river of Andaman flows from here. Enrooted stop over at Baratang visit Limestone Caves . These ancient caves are located
about 50 minutes (by Backwater ) away from Baratang Jetty , The boat journey through the heart of dense mangrove forest is simply

As per your boat timing we will proceed for Havelock Island by Speed Boat . The journey takes 2 hrs from Port Blair , after arrival at
Havelock Island proceed to Beach No.7 this beach is called "Radhanagar Beach" and is one of the most popular beaches on Havelock
and was named "Best Beach in Asia" by Time in 2004 . Return back to your hotel, evening free for own activity . Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04 :: In Havelock Island
After breakfast explore one another beach the Elephants Beach ( By fiber boat by sharing basis , this beach is famous for Coral’s , You
can go for snorkeling by sharing basis . Overnight stay at hotel .
Day 05 :: Havelock Island To Port Blair
Check out time of the hotel is 09:00 Hrs. keep your luggage at reception & proceed to explore Kalapathar Beach. After visit drop at Jetty

Day 06 :: Excursion Baratang & Back to Port Blair – ( Lime stone cave closed on Monday )
Today at early morning ( 03:30 AM ) start for your journey to Barathang Island , ( 110 Kms ) road drive, crossing the grand ATR , covered
with dense forests on both the side. In between the road journey you will cross two islands passages via vessels ferry boats, on arrival at
Baratang comes a very exciting part of the journey; the mangrove creek journey by boat leading to the Lime Stone Cave , it’s takes ½
hour journey, then a 20 minutes short trip by road , After visit Back to Port Blair ( At 1530 Hrs is Last Escorts ) , Overnight stay at Port Blair.
Day 07 :: Excursion Jolly Buoy Or Red Skin Island & Back - Closed on Monday ( Carry Changing Cloth, water & dry food )

North Andaman Island, Diglipur provides a rare experience for eco-friendly tourists. It is famous for its oranges, rice and marine life. Kalpong
- the only river of Andaman flows from here. Enrooted stop over at Baratang visit Limestone Caves . These ancient caves are located
about 50 minutes (by Backwater ) away from Baratang Jetty , The boat journey through the heart of dense mangrove forest is simply
breathtaking. The boat ride here is a lifetime experience. At limestone caves remember to carry torchlight. After visit transfer to Diglipur ,
O/n stay at Diglipur.
Day 07 :: Excursion Ross & Smith Island
After breakfast reach at Diglipur Jetty for visit Ross & Smith Island , Ross and Smith Islands are about 30 minutes by ferry from Diglipur in
North Andaman Islands , Though these are commonly referred to as twin islands, they are actually a single island separated by a sandy
stretch which makes it appear like two separate islands. After taking Permission from the Forest office ( Aerial bay Jetty in Diglipur )
proceed for Ross & Smith Island by Speed Boat . Ross and Smith, the twin islands joined by a sand bar , Experience yourself to be stand on

Day 08 :: Diglipur To Port Blair

DO'S
Foreigners, especially to ensure to and from
confirmed air tickets and accommodation in
advance before proceeding to the Andaman
Island to avoid immigration problems.
2) Foreign nationals should obtain the required
permit from the immigration authorities soon after
landing on the island at Airport/Harbour.
Visit the permitted areas in the Islands only
3) Make use of the services of authorized tourist
guides.
4) While driving, follow the traffic rules, keep left.
Carry legal documents like driving license, permit
passport etc.
5) Consult life guards before entering sea.
Swim in safe area only.
6) Keep the beaches and the environment clean.
Dispose of the garbage proper places/dustbins
and avoid plastic.
7) Observe decency and decorum in dress.
8) Avail the service of Scuba Dive instructors having
certification of international/professional
organizations like PADI, CMAS, NAUI, BSAC and SSI
9) for safe diving experience.
10) Please drink sufficient water to avoid dehydration.
11) Please pick up your bags and bottle while leaving
the visiting spot

DON'TS
Foreign nationals should not enter the islands without
required permit.
Do not enter into restricted/tribal areas.
Do not take video, film or photographs inside Tribal
Reserve areas of the indigenous tribes.
Do not carry sea fans and seashells unless specific
permits are obtained from Fisheries Department.
Do not light fire in forest areas.
Do not stay on the beaches or forest during nights by
putting up down tents/hammocks.
Nudity on beaches and public places is forbidden.
Do not enter the National Parks without permission.

All foreign nationals can stay in the islands for 30 days. This can be extended by another 15 days with permission. They require a permit to
stay from the immigration authorities. In addition, permits can also be obtained from: Indian Missions Overseas, Foreigner’s Registration
Offices at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Calcutta and the immigration authorities at the airports at Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta and Chennai.
The places covered by this permit for night halt are :: South Andaman Island, Middle Andaman Island and Little Andaman Island (except
tribal reserve), Neil Island, Havelock Island, Long Island, Diglipur, Baratang, North Passage and islands in the Mahatma Gandhi Marine
National Park (excluding islands – Boat Hobday, Twin, Tarmugli, Malay and Pluto) Night halt in the Park is with permission only.
For Day Halt :: South Cinque Island, Ross Island, Narcondum Island, Interview Island, Brother Island, Sister Island and Barren Island ( Barren
Island can be visited on board vessels only).
The following points are to be noted for Child Rate::
** Children above 10+ years will be charged 100% as per Adult Rate
** Children of 3+ to 10 sharing parent’s room will be charged as per CWB
** Children below 3 years Complimentary only Hotel
** Children below 2 years Complimentary in Ferry , Entry & Boat Charges ..

(Hotels are very strict with the child policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced when asked )
All cancellations are to be communicated in writing, & will attract a sum of INR 1500.00 minimum. Beside the forfeiture of the deposit
amount, a further charge will be levied if notice of cancellation is received within 15 days prior to the operation of the booked tour as per
the following.

Important Informations :
For Extra adult in the room we will provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but some hotels only provide a roll out bed and
have no provision of an extra bed
Operator reserves the right to re-arrange itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total number of days in each
destination and without compromising any services
The vehicle used is AC / NAC and is available for point to point services only and is not at disposal. Clients are requested to follow
the timings in the program.
In case any services are miss due to delay in departure, the operator will not be responsible for any refunds
Child sharing parents room will not be provided an extra bed.

The tour cost is not refundable at any cause, once tour starts
The tour guide reserves the rights to make changes/detour or omit any place of visit, if it becomes
necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or band and security reason.
Tourist will carry their luggage at own risk and responsibility; East Wind Holiday Tours Pvt. Ltd does not hold any responsibility for
any loss of luggage during the tour.
Permit is required for Baratang Island. It is mandatory that guest should carry 02 copies of passport size Photograph, original &
copy of photo ID i.e. Voter ID card / Pass-port / Driving License / Any Govt. approved photo ID except PAN CARD for
processing the permit.
Please carry own food from Port Blair because good food is not available in Baratang Island.
