effective and user friendly self service passenger checkin and baggage processing capability, avoiding lengthy
queues and minimising passenger disruption.
The traditional model of airport check-in and baggage
processing is labour intensive and involves numerous
dedicated staffed counters. Resulting in bottlenecks and
queues, which are perceived by most customers as a
painful and frustrating experience.

receive their valid boarding pass via self-service channels
(web, kiosk and mobile phone) to scan their pass and deposit their bag into a two stage conveyor bag drop point.
Baggage check-in typically takes less than 30 seconds to
complete.

Our Auto Bag Drop safety and security features ensure that
the bag measurement process and induction to the baggage handling system is protected against intrusion or tampering, while also ensure each passenger has the allocated
luggage allowance specific to the boarding pass presented.

Our two stage design of the bag drop system allows for
separation of the dimensioning process and the bag
induction into the baggage handling system - ultimately
resulting in a higher level of passenger throughput in a
secure fashion.

Flexible, open design
The design of the check-in environment is critical for airports, airlines and their customers.
Elenium’s unique technology and manufacturing capabilities allows our Auto Bag Drop product to provide high levels of flexibility in not just the models and configurations available, but in final finish (trim material/colour, user interface, configurable
lighting displays, custom branding and projection capabilities) providing for an unencumbered inviting environment.

Fully integrated
Auto Bag Drop provides integration with all major DCS and BHS systems and supports Common Use operations.
DCS interfaces (via ARNIC multi channel) are supported and Auto Bag Drop automatically integrates with existing baggag
handling control systems. It can also be customised to integrate with control room or terminal management monitoring, alarming and maintenance systems.
Auto Bag Drop can work with the Elenium common user application or any CUSS 1.3 compliant application. Alternatively,
Auto Bag Drop can used in a dedicated airline environment.
The Auto Bag Drop kiosk provides an administration interface for authorised check-in personnel to perform management operations and to assist passengers. An RFID antenna integrated into the scale conveyor provides the capability of automatically
detecing tubs using embedded RFID tags, and to support airline specific or IATA standard RFID bag tags.
