Asclepius
endeavors
to extend community based
efforts
through
medical
and
surgical
missions, health education and skills
training, leadership development, as
well as health and socio-civic
advocacies among others.
The Order of Asclepius as part of
its effort to promote brotherhood in
Medicine
through
service,
participated in the celebration of the
Liga Day 2015 held at the Iloilo Sports
Complex on August 23. Resident
members rendered their service in
the day-long event through vital
signs taking as well as providing free
medical consultations and health
education to the participants of the
said event.
Service knows no bounds. From
mountains to island barangays, across
all terrains, the Order reaches out to
those who need their expertise,
regardless of race, sex, gender and
social status. The kind of service that
the Order of Asclepius renders is
something that is relevant and
genuine
Resident
Asclepians
Aljeirou
Alcachupas, Ma. Celine
Villo, and
Aloha Gay Quimba from Batch 37 as
well as Genessa Buenafe and Modesto
Gargaritano Jr from Batch 39 took time
to render their expertise in the
one-day event. The medical and
health-related efforts were
made
possible through the partnership with
the Department of Health. #
