supported by the community.

Taste of the Wild is an annual event held at Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary that raises much
needed funds for our animals and programs. We are a non-profit organization that’s home to more
than 200 animals that have either been displaced or can no longer survive in their natural habitats –
and we can’t do it without you! We boast programs that include more than 250 animal rescues every
year, covering everything from triage, relocation, release, and eventual permanent housing; we also
provide many interactive educational outreach programs for schools, groups and organizations.

Our annual Taste of the Wild event features a variety of restaurants, wineries and
breweries from all over Arizona that offer tastings from their menus. There is entertainment (all things
from musical performances and artists to novelty acts and games), a silent
auction (with items such as travel and resort packages, artwork, golf
packages, and jewelry), and behind-the-scenes visits with our
animals. Not only is the event a great time, but for a great cause.

This year’s Taste of the Wild event will be held on Sunday,
October 4 from 3 pm – 7 pm. Tickets are $75 per person and
include admission to the event, participation in all event activities
and a souvenir wine glass.

You can purchase tickets in person at our Gift Shop, by
calling us at 928.778.4242, online at www.HeritageParkZoo.org, or
by email: aschopp@HeritageParkZoo.org.
All proceeds for the event support the animals and programs at Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary.
