Amy Inman to Host Press Conference on the
State of Township Playgrounds

Press conference to discuss Amy Inman’s plan to address the school playgrounds
“Our 2 million dollar school playground situation is not going to go away. It's
time to stop pointing fingers and start actively finding a solution. Leadership has
failed the parents and children of Hamilton Township, and it is obvious that this
needs to be acted on immediately for the safety of our children.
For four weeks now we’ve sent our children to our grammar schools in Hamilton,
where playgrounds are roped off with safety tape. It looks like a crime, and it is a
crime to the welfare and education of our children. Going forward, for both the
school district and township playgrounds as well as for the many fields in the
municipal parks we need to take a new approach – new for Hamilton.
It takes bold leadership and courage to face these problems head on and deliver
for the community. Hamilton Township needs new leadership in the mayor’s
office and on the council to bring new ideas to solve these and other problems.”

Amy Inman is the Democratic nominee for Mayor in Hamilton Township. She is
a wife and mother of two children who are enrolled in Hamilton’s public schools.
Like many Hamiltonians, her roots are in Trenton, but she moved to Hamilton
with her family at the age of 16 after a burglary at her home. She is a McCorristin
High grad who earned her Bachelor of Arts at St. John’s University in New York
City. She continued her education at the Art Institute of Philadelphia where she
earned a specialized technology degree. She brings the experience of a successful
small business owner literally “to the table” as she is the proud owner of
“Cabinets by Amy and Lauren”, a kitchen and home remodeling design
