Unclip the small plastic cover (highlighted by the green circle) with a flat blade screwdriver, and
undo the screw hidden behind it. Undo the 3 screws highlighted by the yellow circles.

Raise the plastic cover slightly upwards on the right hand side so it is unhooked and wiggle it out so
the left side gets unhooked too. Lower the cover and disconnect the two connectors going to the
footwell courtesy light. Remove the plastic cover and the sound insulating cover attached to it.

Undo the two screws (pointed by the yellow arrows) securing the CEM.

Wiggle the CEM and unplug the 4 connectors

Plug in the replacement CEM and put it back in it's right position. Make sure you line up and slide
up the metal bracket to this plastic guiding groove

Unclip the sound insulating cover attached to the plastic cover and put it aside

Place the plastic cover in the footwell and connect the two connectors to the footwell courtesy light.
To put the plastic cover back on, you need to start from the left. Make sure the plastic hook and the
groove are lined up and slide them in

Then slide the hook on the right side groove aad the plastic cover should be all lined up and secured

Screw in the fours screws and put back that small plastic cover on the bottom right screw. And
finally, to put the sound insulating cover, slide in the front part to the white plastic groove so it does
not fall down. Then raise the rear part, line up the two black clips with the two holes on the plastic
cover and push them in until they click.
