MARZS
Marzs is a 20 year-old MC who was born in Saint Lucia, but grew up in
the Northern Philadelphia Suburbs. During high school, he released his
debut project "Carapheranelia and Drugs", exploring his youthful
experiences and taste in music. After finishing school, Marzs continued to
follow his dream of trippy Hip Hop and hazy nights with the release of his
second debut mixtape "Young and Lost", showcasing the downfalls of a
troubled past with present talent.
2015 is an incredible year for Marzs:
In early Spring, the release of his official first solo Mixtape Irie sparked the
interests of thousands of fans around the nation who now flock to his
Soundcloud looking for new tunes which he releases regularly. Aug 28th,
2015 Marzs released 2935 to an astonishing amount of fans and supporters
waiting to hear it. It’s experimental and emotional values resonated closely
with who Marzs is today.
Marzs is influenced by artists who aren't afraid to be
experimental with music and the human experience such as Childish
Gambino, Kyle, and Drake. A concoction of Indie style, complex thoughts,
groovy attitude, and outspoken happiness through his lyrics, Marzs just
wants to stay true to his craft and create authentic music.
