Midterm-Health Information Management
CSHS-4:30 PM
I chose Health Information Management as my back up plan because I already
have experience in the medical records field and it is my current profession. My
first and only choice is Veterinary Technician, but if that for some reason does not
work out, I will stay where I currently work. This is, however, a great option for
anyone that wants to be in a secure, profitable, and interesting career that do not
want to have direct patient contact. This career offers great job security, because
everyone is going to need their records managed. A great bonus is that, for the
most part, you can choose your schedule. In Chattanooga, there are multiple
career opportunities including, but not limited to, Unum Insurance, Blue Cross
Blue Shield, Erlanger, physician clinics, Veterinary clinics, and so much more. I
would still have this as my back up plan because my current place of business is a
great place to work, offers amazing benefits, and has many opportunities to
advance my career. This is a great career to choose, I just feel that I am meant to
help animals, anyway I can, and want to make that my career.
