Who we are…
We are a team of highly motivated stringed instrument enthusiasts sharing one
common goal. We want to share our knowledge and provide resources for others to
further their skills. Your playing is our passion.
What we do…
We work hard to provide helpful resources for students to further their playing skills.
Currently, we are furthering our live class platform, which is unique from any other
traditional way to learn…and it’s free to attend live!
There are many ways to learn a stringed instrument, but many of them have potential
problems. For example, private lessons are nice, but some people are too far away from
a good quality teacher, and some can’t afford the cost of instruction.
We want to open the door to providing more opportunities for students to improve
their skills. As teachers, we all understand what it takes to learn, and we don’t want a
student to get frustrated or flustered with the process.
We strive to provide structure for students of all ability levels. We don’t want them to
get overwhelmed, decide to quit the violin, and never come back. We instead want
them to LOVE the violin, and want to come back to learn more.
How we do it…
We have put together a dedicated team that is constantly working to build the
platforms needed to make learning fun, easy and interactive. It is all possible because
of our desire and passion for exceptional customer service.
Beginner Violin Lessons
My name is Michael Sanchez and I’m the violin teacher
here at Violin Tutor Pro. Today we’re going to talk a little
bit about the different parts of the violin and things you
need to know to get started. The first part of the violin is
the strings, and there are four different strings on the
violin. The thinnest string is the E String, then the A
string, D String, and the thickest string is the G string.
This black piece running down the front of the violin is what we call the fingerboard,
which is where we put fingers down over the string. At the top of the instrument we
have the scroll, and the peg box where we have the pegs that tune the instrument.
Below the scroll and peg box is the neck, and below that is the top. The strings are
actually resting on top of the bridge, which is connected by the tail piece. The tail piece
has one fine tuner on it, which also tunes the instrument. Here we have the chinrest
where we’re going to put our chin. These holes are called the F holes. In between the
top and the back we have the ribs. Those are all the main parts of the instrument, and
what you need to know to get started and to move on.
“I recommend Violin Tutor Pro to many of my private students. The video lessons are
very informative and easy to understand. I think it is the best online platform to learn
violin on the web.”
“Being an educator myself, I can honestly say that Michael is a natural born teacher. He
has the ability to get the most out of his students, while keeping learning fun and
“Violin Tutor Pro is a fun and effective way to learn how to play the violin. I personally
