Dear Ellen & Gary:

Please be advised that public hearings before the Mead Planning Commission and the Mead
Board of Trustees have been set to review and consider the rezoning of the Range View Estates
Subdivision in the Town of Mead. The property is owned by Mark and Deborah Schell, 9078 Fieldcrest
Lane, Longmont, CO 80503.
The property was annexed to the Town of Mead in 2001, and platted and zoned for RSF-1
(Residential Single-Family). The property is now proposed to be rezoned to RSF-4 (Residential SingleFamily District), with a PUD overlay. The property consists of approximately 159 .92 acres at the
northeast corner of 3rd Street and Adams Avenue in Mead.
In accordance with Sec. 16-3-160 (c) (5), of the Mead Municipal Code, you have been sent this
notice as the "owner of record" of property within 300 feet of the property to be rezoned.
Attached is a copy of the published public hearing notice, together with a copy of the applicant's
letter of introduction, a concept map of the property and draft PUD regulations. Copies of the full
application, as well as the full-sized maps submitted with the application are available for review in the
Mead Town Hall, 441 - 3rd Street, Mead, Colorado. Written comments may be sent to Dan Dean, Town
Manager, Box 626, Mead, CO 80542.
